Following the buzz around single ‘Close’ at the end of last year, South London producer and multi-instrumentalist Leaps opens Spring 2023 with new single ‘Rewind’ and EP ‘Transcendent’, dropping on Headroom Records 7th April. 
 
Luke Osborne aka Leaps has been bubbling up on London’s underground scene for a couple of years now in various guises. Fresh from Goldsmiths popular music course, this multi-talented producer, DJ and artist cut his teeth as a drummer and songwriter working with artists like Rosie Lowe and co-founding electronic R&B outfit NULA, catching the eye of tastemaker audiences all over in the process. It was during lockdown that he really started to hone his solo project, Leaps.  The emotionally charged uncertainty of the times opening a floodgate of creativity that helped shape the signature sound BBC Introducing Dance and others can’t get enough of. 
 
On the ‘Transcendent’ EP Leaps really takes flight with four iridescent tracks steeped in the kind of yearning euphoria he’s crafted so well. 

Lead single ‘Rewind’ embraces a host of nostalgic references: a garagey vocal refrain, driving beats and soaring pads. Leaps takes us to deep space via deep house but always keeping  one eye firmly on the future.

DJ Alone Again is somewhat of a musically inclined mystery. His diverse talent is evident for all to hear on his collective SoundCloud pages and live gigs and sets throughout New York and beyond. His love of music extends from; melodic 80s indie rock with his band Vain Pursuit - a band sounding like a mix between The War On Drugs and The Cure on the track 'Be With You' and Lennon post-Beatles on 'Good Friends'. To the melodic, modern deep house - akin to Kaytranada - you'll hear as his DJ Alone Again alias.

Ever the musical creative, DJ Alone Again treats his SoundCloud following to mixes, releases and underground edits. Mixes on the Housepedia and ALL2GTHR mix series'. Releases such as his signature track 'Soleil Violet' on the Siduri Records compilation 'Where Are You Roaming 1' and also on Fantin Zoo Records. For both SoundCloud and Bandcamp followers, numerous underground edits are available that can be downloaded for free on the latter, such as ; Jorja Smith - Little Things (DJ Alone Again Edit), Kelela - Let It Go (DJ Alone Again Edit), Drake, Yebba - Yebba's Heartbreak (DJ Alone Again Edit).

If this artist's historic mixes, releases and edits are anything to go by...his next releases are must haves for fans of all that is good underground dance music.

Sonic Juncture were handed the reigns and told 'have at it'. The result is a transformative piece of bass euphoria. The track has acid lines and 90's-esque keys added with a driving breakbeat - who thought that was possible? Initially staying relatively true to the original, Sonic Juncture slowly implement their identity like a whopping sub-bass, layered with addictive flute melodies resulting in the track going from joyful breakbeat to peak-time dancefloor/muddy field rave track. It needs to be heard to be believed…

Q1E2 Recordings present the 2nd single taken from Dr.Sud's forthcoming EP 'Heading South'.

He’s a Rome-born, Berlin-raised producer whose music is a fusion of percussion-centric soundscapes and integrated jazz-leaning harmonies, drawing inspiration from diverse genres like electronica, funk, and house.

‘Brina’, a word which in Italian refers to morning dew – perhaps found on a tent on the morning of a festival – represents the breaking of dawn with broken beats. The track breaks and squints into the start of the day with spacious kick drums leaving room for warm, almost familiar pads and keys.
