since I was a child, I have had a lot of confidence with the bongo... and now, I feel that it is a part of me... when I hear a bongo playing, an internal emotion triggers me... of joy, and of immediate rebirth. And I feel inexplicably charged, I wake up mentally. For me it has the same effect as the trumpet in the morning for the soldier... it arouses an emotion in you, of immediate readiness. Some tools are magical.

This song started as an FL Studio project around 2017. I originally did it all in the piano roll, inputting each note by hand. I had to recreate it by ear and from memory since I didn't have the original file anymore. The intro is cut from the original track.

The piano is Keyscape, the EP is the Reface CP, and the "guitar" is actually the Reface CP's clav with a bunch of effects on it. All the strings are from the Juno DS.

The track was inspired by waking up to a good day.
