Je me suis découvert une passion nouvelle pour la musique d’Asie centrale en janvier 2024, dans le formidable spectacle équestre de Bartabas « Femmes persanes ». 
Mon attention s'était alors particulièrement portée sur un petit luth à 4 cordes vraiment très joli, le setâr. 
Et aussi sur la musicienne qui en jouait, Shadi Fathi. Cette femme a un touché de dingue et une sensibilité qui m’a ému au point que j’en ai presque oublié les cavales sur la piste. 

Conditionné par le capitalisme optimisé du XXI ème siècle (merci Murakami), mon premier réflexe a été de chercher à m'acheter un setâr. 
Quel monde de merde. 

En parallèle de ma quête consumériste, je lisais sur l’internet des trucs sur la musique persane en écoutant en boucle les maîtres du setâr, et Shadi beaucoup plus que les autres. Au gré de mes lectures j’ai eu une révélation : 
" Parbleu ! le setâr est accordé en open C simplifié". 

Ma petite Yamaha de voyage qui glandait dans un coin retrouva un emploi en se transformant aussitôt en setâr à 6 cordes, sans les quarts de ton. 
Ça frôle l'hérésie mais je vis avec sans trop de soucis et ça présente deux avantages majeurs : 
1- J’ai commencé à expérimenter immédiatement mes nouveaux sons. 
2- J’ai temporairement renoncé à un achat compulsif et par conséquent, j’emmerde le capitalisme optimisé du XXI ème siècle. 

 Je m'éclate depuis 3 mois avec ce nouvel univers musical, j'ai poussé un peu plus loin l'hérésie en accordant aussi ma vieille gratte électrique sans nom façon sêtar (pour les quarts de tons, je pousse et tire un peu les cordes et ça fait le job).

Vous l’entendrez, le deep blues et le rock chers à mon coeur sont toujours à proximité dans ces chansons. 
On ne se refait pas.

Experimental music that ranges feral beyond human constraints. 

The music covers a lot of non-genres. Multiple resonances include Dark/Ambient, Psych, Doom, Drone, Noise Rock, Kosmische, EDM, Trapwave, and Romantic Era and Post-Romantic, with special nods to the bands Swans, Earth, Caspar Brotzman Massaker. Dystopian Inspirational for noble outlaws.

Electric guitar, bass, drum kit, lap steel slide and electrified dulcimers played with a violin bow, bodhrán, Peruvian triangle drum, snare drum, silver flute, double shepherd's flute, regular duclimers, spring reverb tank, suling, jaw harp, pungi, khaen, melodica, harmonica, broken cymbal, double wind wand, recorder, boatswain's pipe, penny whistle, slide whistle, MIDI controller to trigger computer's internal synth, voice, found objects, electric tennis racket...
