Hailing from Córdoba, Argentina, Leandro Murua first appeared on the label's influential We Are The Future compilation in 2020. Since then, he has become one of 3rd Avenue's most consistent artists, with numerous releases across both the main imprint and its Future Avenue sublabel. His growing reputation has also led to appearances on respected platforms like Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Juicebox Music, and YOMO Records.

For this special package, the label has assembled an impressive trio of remix talent: Estonian producer Thomas Ferrell brings his melodic sensibility, Belarusian artist Hully Che contributes his distinctive groove, and Czech Republic's Streichl completes the international lineup with his unique production approach.

Over 9 years ago, I recorded the first Chasing The Vibe. It was a way for me to share the music I was playing and to keep me active in music, considering I had paused performing live to focus on my life.

Although the music I've shared has changed over the years, the vibe has remained the same, and this mix might be my favourite. After returning from Balance Croatia, my energy has changed, and I feel much more uplifted and positive after feeling disconnected for the last six months. I wanted to put together a mix that captured part of what I felt and heard at Balance. I also wanted to share warm and uplifting melodies as summer ends.

This brings me to who I shared it with. I haven't been in Victoria much this year, but I wanted to share this mix live with friends. I am deeply thankful to have met many amazing people and friends through the music scene in Victoria, and most of them showed up, which means so much to me!! Special thanks to Ryan Davys and Ryan Lockhart for spearheading this set live in Fernwood.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer https://soundcloud.com/madloch , Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond  between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.   

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.   

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt. 
 
Sound Avenue carefully curates each release to move their vision forward, building a close-knit family of scene veterans, while nurturing new talents such as Agustin Basulto, Giddyhead, Lucefora and Nicolas Rada.
