𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀, the Brazilian crew driven by varied tastes (from electro and techno to house and other unexpected textures) delivers Half Moon Bay by 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵 & 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀, a digital EP that mixes classic club energy with a raw, almost visceral edge.

Our premiere “𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘔𝘦” feels like a punch from the past, channeling a late ’90s rave spirit with its punchy drums and dark, irresistible drive. The rhythm is tight, crafted to drag you into a hypnotic trance.  Ghostly chord stabs and abrasive FX flicker in and out, adding a slightly sinister texture that keeps the track grounded in emotion.

Florida old school breaks raised Orlando Daytona area in the '90s, where he could be spotted at places like AAhz,the Abyss,the edge,club Firestone soaking in all the great hits at major events at fairgrounds and other classic venues, He needed moreso traveled all through Florida hitting party's,at clubs like barbarellas in Gainesville to marz in Cocoa Beach and hot party's like soul oddityand uberzone, red seal,Gabriel and dresdon.He needed more. off to California where he  was educated in house music and  began DJing under the watchful eye of Antonio Navarro learning the 1s and 2s vinyl style. also a promoter for mission rock,1015 folsom nikita,the end up,and numerous raves and club partys In SF,Bay area. In 2000 year it's back to Daytona to be there for the grand opening of cousin Dave Davis ,Club Fuel nightclub,Then opportunity in Eugene Oregon where the scene stayed alive,where some great music connections and great friends were made ,such as Luke Mandela,BritZ,and mhm out of Portland Oregon.tbc

I specialize primarily in psytrance, and additionally in breakbeat and tech-house / deep-tech... yet I also drop sets of drum'n'bass, techno, and various styles of house music.

Psytrance is my true love.
However, tech-house is a very close second, which I *sometimes* perform under the ‘Papasan’ alias.

A disc jockey for the past 23 years, I have a wide ranging background... from Bay Area mack rap and G-funk, to progressive and nuskool breakbeat, to techstep, jump-up, and neurofunk styles of drum'n'bass.
My roots are spinning vinyl records of nuskool breaks and drum'n'bass, yet for the past 16 years, I've stayed firmly planted in psychedelic trance music.

I've had the honor of dropping slaps for some of the USA's most renowned psytrance crews, namely Pulsar LA, PsyTribe USA, and Greensector, as well as dropping breakbeat and D&B for various rave crews in Los Angeles, and in addition, ardently pushing psytrance in the Philippines wherever and whenever I can, from MEDUSA (Makati) events, my own OPODISCO parties, Vulan Tribe's outdoor festivals, and arguably the most fun: private in-house (IH) ragers.

Expect to hear a wide range of trance... ranging from higher BPM, heavy, funky twilight blasters, to deep and rolling full-on, to earthy and chunky Japanese mid-groove, to driving, atmospheric prog-psy.

Past aliases include: Psykotik, Bling Theory, and Sardonyx (w/ DJ Symbiot... RIP Jason!)

John’s first contact with music was when he discovered his father’s abandoned turntable in the house’s storage. He started listening his father’s record collection, based in Soul, Disco and Funk.
In his early high school years, he realised he has a passion for underground music and started with gigs in North Greece till recently where he moved to London. 
John Dimakis aka D’Jones now continues his thousand miles music journey in London’s vast music scene. His sound is influenced from emotive dreamscape House, Hypnotic Deep House and Heady Techno.
