Indie rock rocks! Everyone should hear anything that theu can get their hands on and decide what is rihht for them and then everyone is successful!!!

Very well said man! We’ve been a band for 12 years now, since I met my singer in college. We have had our ups and downs and have found a small amount of success in our native Boston. But it does get frustrating when you put everything you have into your music, you have a singer that is often compared to Jeff Buckley who writes amazing melodies and lyrics. Yet we’re still just a little band from Boston. But the reason for that is we suck at self promotion. We’re great at music, bad at business…Ha! Yet every time we mix a new song in the studio, I get this cathartic rush that something that started as an idea at 3am has turned into this fully formed song. And the fact that my band is still prolific and records new music every few months is how I define “success”. Making art with best friends and the creative process is the point. Albeit I wish more people heard our music only so it may help someone through a rough patch like so many bands have helped me. I define success as just being passionate about making music in general…Cheers!
