After a first release very noticed by Bungle, Sound Enforcers welcomes this time the prodigy M-zine, one of the best kept secrets from Belgium.

M-zine have just released their excellent debut album 'Know When You're Ready' on Bristol's Sofa Sound label. He has also signed to some of the hottest labels on the scene such as 31 Records, Dispatch Recordings or Commercial Suicide to name a few.

M-zine opens this new project with the track '150 Miles From Earth' in collaboration with his Belgian friend Atmospherix. A modern and trippy drum & bass that should shake more than one on the dancefloor. 'EightOEight' wants to be more deep & funky, again combining modernity and old-school influence to get something original out of it. Then come 'Clip2' and 'Tools' in a minimal and mental register, loaded with techno influences. Simple & effective.

Humanity is not very far from a cold, biomechanical future right now. So let Subcat set the mood for you with the title track ‘Hyenas’.

Horror pads and furious tom-rolls build momentum towards the drop, winding up the energy until the riff hits you like a concrete tsunami sponsored by gravity. The bass bounces around like a feral dog while the listener dislocates themselves to the rhythm. Once heard this one won’t be forgotten, and we don’t say that in every release copy like most labels.

Bringing up the B side, but still ruthlessly ‘Class A’ is ‘Flow’. Starting with tense soundscapes and pads, the drop wonks at you straight away and wonks furiously. Furious arpeggios permeate the track to give it a driving, stampeding momentum. Eyes on Subcat please, we only bring you the best.
