Jan Nemeček emerged in the early ’00s as one of the most versatile and prolific electronic producers going. In Serbia, he’s been known for many years as a most interesting young electronic music talent and a staple of the local clubland. After growing up fascinated by early prog rock and “kosmische” music, Jan experimented with his own longform ambient recordings and tape loop experiments. His first break was doing sound design for sough after hardware synthesizers such as Hartmann Neuron. Late ’00s saw him creating various forms of electronic music with focus on ambient and improvisatory electronic music.

Nemeček’s beatless work unfolds with patience influenced by borderline dub sub bass movements and heavily based on deconstructed recordings. He gained international respect from home listeners and critics with releases of albums All Things (2011) as well as numerous EPs on CC-based label Norbu, which he co-founded. Since 2014 Jan has focused working with granular synthesis and sampling, producing the album Fragmented. He has performed in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Portugal, Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Kosovo. Collaborations include Brickwall Brigade (with Goran Simonoski), J-House (with Danilo Tomic) and live performances with Lukatoyboy.

Current activities include sound design work for various companies and curating the music programme for Resonate Festival. Depending on the context, performances are either a techno-influenced club live set or an improvisatory modular synthesizer performance.

'Kerberos' is a hypnotic and driving cut, one that progresses and builds with precision and underlying menace. Its melodies intertwine from the first beat and it couldn't sum up the Systematic ethos better.

Coincidence remixes is a remix EP following Soundhitectures label launch with Coincidence compilation in October. Two remixes follow Paoli's first single released on the compilation. 

Blaz Perus crafted a melodic upbeat version with powerful chorus and atmospheric finish. Remix moves us quickly back in to reality of space and time, proving to us how even the strongest of collisions can not prevent us from moving forward to seek the next rush of unexpectedness. Even though we are still longing for what we feel was there, we are already seeking the future coincidences to feel the beat and the rhythm collide yet again.

On the other side upcoming Jan Nemecek once again proved his excellent remixing skills with extraordinary slow and spacy remix of Paoli’s “Call of Your Ghost”. The remix plays on the emotion stemming and evokes strongly enhanced sense of longing for a repeat of the coincidence taking us on an intimate walk down the memory lane.

Serbian producer Jan Nemecek is set to release his new EP “Watered” on 7th of September . Three tracked EP that expands into melodic world of beats is finished with violine version of Uncertainty which already appeared in different form on Jan's last album "Fragmented". With first two tracks Jan stayed true to what he represents at the moment with his club sound. Watered starts slowly with melodic chords followed by Jan’s classic sampled vocals. The track stays in the melancholic field and reaches it peak in the second half with slow and steady build up thorough. Point is a subtle dance floor rocker which is keeping the tension and atmosphere of the first track, but with a rougher groove and different point. Uncertainty drives into a whole another specter of music and quickly becomes ear pleasing chaos of vocals, violine, synths and noise.

All tracks were produced, mixed and mastered by Jan Nemecek.

Watered EP will be available for free download on our Soundcloud and via torrents. Digital release will follow on all digital music shops and on our website.

Otto Lindholm used a technique that was developed by the Italian bass player and composer Stefano Scodanibbio. This technique consists in playing the different overtones of each string with two hands simultaneously thanks to the thumbs.

The music we all love is the music we like to call as space music. We feel that it helps us to expand our minds and connect us together in the most brilliant ways. 

It’s not important if this happens while we are dancing our asses off or during mediation sessions. It’s always in us - and we share a part of it.  

Sometimes this means a club set, other times it’s a piece of ambient music for home listening or a music release that you can download and play in the club. Every artist is a world on its own - interconnected with others, environment, past experiences and the future that makes him/her unique. We create space to connect, honor & respect that.
