The Question

A summer edition a "fun" version of Tarrega style but as non guitar version.

Tárrega was born on 21 November 1852, in Villarreal, Province of Castellón, Spain. Tárrega is considered to have laid the foundations for 20th-century classical guitar and for increasing interest in the guitar as a recital instrument.

Until now, my music was almost completely ununderstood except for the SoundCloud community (I am very grateful to you). Why is that? I haven't even been able to face that question. However, this time, with the beginning of 2025, I will also change! I decided. I have to break out of my shell. I have to incorporate trends. That being said, since I did all the work, the music ended up being strange and typical of me. It's a strange piece of music, but I think you'll enjoy it. Go ahead and press the play button.

Cosmic Soup

This piece was inspired by a trip to Salmon River in the Ghost Town of Hyder, Alaska with my son David in 2023.
Every year thousands of salmons migrate the River of their origin for spawning. The journey can take up to a year. After spawning  the salmons  protect their eggs until death which occurs after a few days for most of the salmons. For them the circle of life comes to an end here. For the bears they are food and so you are able watch both salmons and bears if you are lucky. The place is mystical,: the beginning of new life and death at the same place.

When I send a raw edition of this to Carl from ‚The Beautiful Dark‘, he agreed to work on it and wrote some gorgeous lyrics and a vocal line in no time. I am very happy about this collaboration with a great musician and a very nice guy. Hope you enjoy!

Humans are the only species who preserve a lasting relationship from parents to children and vice versa after the offspring has reached adolescence. This can be curse and blessing at the same time in some cases, but overall it is a gift in my view. We will stay the children of our parents for a lifetime obviously. Once you have realized this and don't consider it a threat anymore you are given the chance to close the circle in a peace- and beautiful way.

It all started in late 2022 while driving. I heard a song on the radio that inspired me to create this piece. I only heard it once, I don't know the author(s) or the title of this song.

After creating the core/mockup of the song, I presented it to Brian Butts (@brian-butts-565934842), which is amazing multi instrumentalist, and asked if he would record a guitar solo similar in idea to the solo from "The Break in Tranquility" https://soundcloud.com/r-u-r-pl/the-break-in-tranquility, which I had previously asked him to review. He agreed to this willingly and that's how my first ever collab was created.

I actually regret a little that this song is a bit too slow, but trying to speed it up caused Brian's solo to fall apart, and my skills don't yet allow me to properly edit it.

This song was lying in my "drawer" for over 2 years. I wasn't fully satisfied with what I did and its sound. I wasn't able to come up with a good Bridge and make it a full-fledged song. In the end I decided to release it as is. I only modified some parts to maintain the feeling of the progression of the arrangement.

Sorry Brian, my friend, that it took so long, but my perfectionism https://w.wiki/9XhH makes me constantly dissatisfied with what I do and often prevents me from finishing the songs.

Eating lots of cheese and hotdogs, eating lots of cake. and pie
I wish that I could switch to arugula and beets so I could be a more healthy guy.
It seems like everywhere I look; I see a delicious high calorie treat
But I only have one stomach and there's so much food to eat.
There's a Peloton in my basement, I need to go down there

Why can't losing weight be as easy as losing hair.
I step into Starbucks for black coffee and walk out with hot chocolate and a muffin. Sometimes I feel like a teddy bear who's been filled with too much stuffing 
I tell myself that for lunch I'll have a side salad, and I'll skip the dressing but the more that I think about it it starts to feel depressing
there's the peloton in my basement I need to go down there.

If God said to Adam if you eat that fruit, you won't look good in your birthday suit, would he have taken a bite?  Based on my experience I don't think so.
If Moses led his people to the promised land and they found a place where desert was banned, would they have stayed there?  Based on my experience I don't think so.
