Courtney Scott is a Brooklyn-based artist who is driven by music's power to build community, to heal, and to transmit love in its purest form.  Her performances are visceral; taking you on a deeply personal journey into diverse sounds that are not without risks or surprises, but woven with soulful melodies and addictive basslines that move you to the highest frequency.  Her sound is heavily influenced by the rhythms she has discovered in the last 12 years as a nomad and by her New York City roots.  Her sets are infused with afro, acid, nu-disco and indigenous subtleties that delicately blend to create her signature sound.
