Those who have been following duploc.com since the beginning definitely remember the innovative Le Lion regularly passing by. The Rotterdam-based producer always had an open-minded attitude towards music in general which, together with a spiritual mindset, is an inspiration for his highly unique and creative tracks. A style which he describes as being “metallic sounding dark with a funky touch”. 

Le Lion already released some of his finest tunes on Subaltern Records, Version Collective and through his own The Pack Recordings, though he also released heavier content on a few well-respected imprints. Exactly the capability to diversify in sound and style is what Le Lion makes a perfect artist to fit on duploc.com’s record label, as the Belgian label is known for pushing quality from a wide spectrum within dubstep. To top off the release, the title track “Breaking Pattern” gets a stunning remix from the six Italian producers known as D-Operation Drop. It is obvious why duploc.com is very proud to be able to officially introduce both Le Lion and D-Operation Drop via one single release.
