The band burst onto the music scene in May 2008 with the release of the Into the Light EP, which was received with critical acclaim by Hotpress Magazine who described the EP as an "impressive statement of intent". Since then the band have been gaining recognition, releasing two more singles and touring.
DC Tempest has built up a reputation for being one of Ireland's finest live acts. The band have shared the stage with such acts as The Coronas, Codes, Oliver Cole, Razorlight, Bon Jovi, The Chapters, The Aftermath, Republic of Loose, Kid Rock, Dark Room Notes, The Flaws (and many more) and earned a slot on the Live Stage at the celebrated Hotpress Music Show in the RDS by way of public vote (hotpress.com).
Having taken a 12 month break from the live circuit, the band returned in April 2010 with a number of amazing gigs showcasing a new sound which, have included appearances at Life Festival, Vantastival, NPLD Festival and Indiependence Festival to name but a few. Along with a string of shows in Liverpool's historic Cavern Club, lead singer Alan Starr's Troubadour sessions in New York and a number of shows in Latvia the band has once again been established as one of the must-see independent live acts to come from Dublin.
The band release their eagerly awaited new 5 track EP entitled ‘Cities’ in April 2011.

As seen on The Apprentice and featured in The Irish Daily mail,  Soundproof are a 4 piece melodic rock band from North Dublin, set up in 2006 by 3 brothers, Ste, Chris and Neilo. Bassist Rosie later filled in and the band was formed. 

On the trot now for 5 years Soundproof love nothing more than rocking out at a live gig with music full of powerful rock riffs, 3 part harmonies and anthem-esque chants that leave you feeling like you've gotten "a good fucking punch in the face!"

Having just released their 2nd single Lonely Heart Brigade in November with a sold out show in The Workman's Club, Dublin, The Proof are now ready to record their eagerly awaited album.

Lonely Heart Brigade is the follow up to last year's début single Only By the Night, which received international attention when it was picked up by a Canadian TV show and aired on Discovery Channel Canada. The single also received International interest from Glastonbury in 2011 when Soundproof were long-listed to play.

Take some good-time revolutionary spirit, add a pinch of psychedelic flavour, simmer it down with some Indie Soul and you are somewhere close to the cosmic vibe of The Hot Sprockets, five blood brothers from Dublin City, drawn together by their mutual love of Rock 'n' Roll.

Performing live, the Sprockets' take-no-prisoners, white hot, bone-breaking approach has lit a fire in men and women of all tastes and flavours, captivating audiences with numerous successful tours across the USA, Canada, UK, and Europe.

With two critically acclaimed albums under their belt, Honeyskippin’, and Brother Nature – the second of which shot straight into the top 10 of the National Irish Charts – the Sprockets are gearing up towards the release of their third album “Dream Mover”, due out on April 6th 2018.

Sonically, this album marks a huge leap forward for these independent rockers!  Produced and recorded by Dave “Skip” Christophers, and mixed by Charlie Russell (Jamiroquai, Kasabian, The Strypes), listeners can expect to hear an earthier soulful psychedelic side to the Sprockets.

Having already unleashed “Right Spots” – the first single off their eagerly awaited third album – and with two more singles and corresponding videos on the horizon, anticipation grows, as Dream Mover is due to have audiences revelling in the classic hooks and sounds the Sprockets are cherished for.

Dublin quartet, Bipolar Empire, have been winning over new fans all year by playing a packed tent at Oxegen 2011, scoring a great slot at London Feis, & playing numerous festivals this summer. They’ve scored a number of coups too, including shooting a video with Olympic boxing hopeful Katie Taylor & directed by renowned video-maker Kevin Godley (U2, Blur, Snow Patrol) as well as having MUSE band member Chris Wolstenholme guest with them at Dublin’s Workman’s Club.  Their debut album was co-produced by Pat McCarthy (REM, Madonna) & Lance Hogan (U2, Kíla). The album has spawned radio hits Tempomanic, Feel That You Own It & Trip Around The World. They are set to play Croke Park at half-time for All Ireland Semi Final 28 Aug, have been asked to play a prestigious gig at Facebook HQ Ireland 16 Sept, headline a show at Whelans 10th Sept & then they’re off to tour Brazil!

Formed by two founding members of The Stunning - brothers Steve and Joe Wall – the band’s debut album Hi-Lo was released in 2000. U2 offered them a support at their second show in Slane Castle in 2002 after the band sent them copies. In 2002 the single ‘To the Bright and Shining Sun’ was used on a TV commercial and became a top ten hit in Ireland. Their second album ‘New Dawn Breaking’ (2005) hit number 5 in the Irish charts. The movie Begin Again starring Keira Knightley & Mark Ruffalo features the track ‘Drowning Pool’ over the opening credits. The song ‘Open Road‘ proved a favourite with Nic Harcourt on his KCRW show ‘Morning Becomes Eclectic’ and in 2006 he invited the band to Santa Monica to play in studio. Their third album ‘Stop the Lights’ came out in 2012, with the first single ‘Bird in a Cage’ becoming a firm favourite with Irish radio. The bands fourth album Stray Sparks is released in March 2023, a collection of rarities and previously unreleased material.

Drummer Rory Doyle records and tours with Hozier. Steve developed a career as an actor, appearing in the TV series The English; The Witcher (Netflix); Raised by Wolves (HBO/Ridley Scott); Vikings (MGM); Tin Star (Sky Atlantic); Dune: Part Two. He also played the Jazz musician Chet Baker in a Dutch feature film My Foolish Heart, about the trumpeter’s last day in Amsterdam where he died in 1988. Joe Wall teaches in BIMM Music College, Dublin and bassist Jon O’Connell is an in-demand musician/producer in Co. Clare in the west of Ireland.
