Tim Kossmann is a germany based producer who focuses mainly on dub techno and ambient. Since 2016 he has been releasing on a constant basis on labels like Telrae, Greyscale, and Superordinate Dub Waves among many others. Tim loves to explore the deep side of techno, with the aim of creating deep, lush chords and soundscapes filled with echo and spaced out delays, where deeply banging bass and moving whitenoise are combined with sophisticated harmonics in order to push the boundaries of the genre. Besides his own releases, he has also extensively done remix work for other techno artists.  Tim and his partner in crime Van Bonn have joined forces, featuring dub techno legend Steve O'Sullivan on remix controls for their new collabo EP "Dual" on Van Bonn Records (vanbonnrecords.bandcamp.com). Stan Stasenko aka Stan Soul is the founder and owner of Teol & Tevol (Vinyl Only) labels. The project Stan Soul was founded in 2015 and that was the beginning of Stan’s music production career, his sound is best described as atmospheric deep dub techno & minimal. In the past year and a half since the project was founded Stan’s mixes were featured in top podcasts series in their genre such as: MOSHItaka, Deep Afterhour, Hello Strange, Deep Thinking, MixCult, IAS...and many others. Hailing from Ukraine’s Kiev Stan’s current residence is in Tel Aviv, and in the past years he was invited to play in the best clubs the city has to offer such as The Block, Breakfast, Bootleg, Kuli Alma, Sputnik only to name a few, as well as Moscow’s deepmusic.fm festival and Ukrainian club Port. Tevol’s ﬁrst vinyl only releases “COBA”, "Strix" and Sofar EP were released during last 2 years and immediately received great support, while only in the ﬁrst few days the release was occupying top positions on decks.de in various categories. And on we go with yet another beautiful guest mix, this time it is Episode 36 and comes from one of the co-founders of the wonderful Intrinsic Audio Sessions (IAS) label , Chrysalism.
This one is yet another sublime mix sent in from one of the many talented DJ’s from South Africa and I am so glad to be able to feature it up on my page. 
It is a really delicate, warm and fragile deep and dubby set, and also features snippets of field recordings taken from a recent trip to the Costa Brava.

The intro and outro are both field recordings of taken in L’scala, a small town on the Costa Brava in Catalunya, Spain.

◆◆ "First of all, Romanian electronica is considered its own genre because of its very specific movements and ambient grooves which most other music doesn't have. No other genre of music that I've heard had such complex production methods where you can mix amazing bass grooves with minimalistic percussions/details, super organic sounds and elegant break-beat kicks which fit so perfectly together (and I've heard all from old school house to new deep techno and all in between). As far as Romania getting the title,it's mainly because they are the ones who took it to the next level,mind you this music is a form of micro-house/minimal that had been already in production for many years but on a very underground level - until Romania made it more popular (of course with the help of Ricardo Villalobos). The style of music really is something special,more intellectual in my opinion,because it takes a very trained ear to really understand it and enjoy it. For everyone whom is criticizing that it's only for druggies, this is very invalid information. Maybe the fact that it's so complex - it takes the average listener to take drugs in order to expand their mindset to listen and understand, but for those that get it, they do not need anything in order to enjoy such great abstract style of music." ◆◆
