Record collector for about 15 years, Alina has become an essential piece of Berlin’s underground scene. Building her collection with oldies and news, unrestrained by any particular genre, she enthrall the dancefloor every time she is behind the decks. 

Aside of being a great artist, Alina is a wonderful person and may be one of the best encounter of the last few years. Counting such a badass woman within our radio show is a real honor.

Driven by old and new edits, as well as club mixes reminiscent of golden 90s childhood heroes such as Prince or Janet Jackson, Alina’s set perfectly displays the positively-charged and empowering selections of her records collection. Symbolically, the mix starts off with her favorite remix of Janet Jackson’s "The Control‘ from 1986.

Précautions à l’emploi : attention, il est fort probable que vous arrêtiez tout ce que vous étiez en train de faire à l’instant où le podcast se lance. 
Entre deux trois manèges à sensations et quelques lumières vives, on saisit l’intention & l’implacable envie de vous faire danser / vibrer mais peut-être aussi basculer soudainement vers une belle introspection. Our long time hero @leloupmusic joins the saga with an hour of acid-tribalism.  🐺

The Parisian producer and Dj has been part of the Label’s history since our beginnings, he produced a remix on our 4th release and joined us for a few parties. We are thrilled to have him onboard for a new contribution (and hopefully not the last!) 

If you like that kind of trancey infused sounds, he recently released a couple of killer techno records alongside Chris Carrier under the moniker AV-1. If you listened to us recently, you must have heard them as they are 100% right our alley and always find their ways into our sets. 🔥🌳

Le Loup - The Lumbago Saga Episode 23

Paris-based label Sounds Benefit adds the second release to his catalogue, where label owner's Tom Joyce teams up with Leaves, Iron Curtis, Stojche and Ben Cohen, to offer what could be the soundtrack of a walk into the grey landscapes of the New Iram,  with reference to the mysterious city of a thousand pillars.

Leaves opens things up with "Alley 4" - his new collaboration with Iron Curtis -, a  gloomy four to the floor groove, characterized by a rolling bassline and deep synth lines, with the addition of some subtle background elements.
Tom Joyce makes his second contribution to the label with the trippy "Roland in Space". Driven by an aquatic synth loop and inspired by the work of Ectomorph, this nasty electro cut is the kind of stuff that brings the heat to a sleeping crowd.

On the flip, Stojche continues the walk with "Subway Stress". The macedonian producer, who runs Tangible Assets imprint, delivers a spacious electro track, led by gorgeous work on the deep synths and 808 elements, and sublimate by his accurate mixing skills.
Finally Ben Cohen, one of the new highlight of the french scene with EPs on Bliq, Don't be Afraid and Badance, closes with "Time is Destiny", a journey into his eastern origins. With crispy hit hats and atmospheric Juno 106 synth lines, this melancholic piece of music is no less devoid of  a certain groove.
