Mo Sounds, raised Monique Ingram in South Philadelphia by her mother and stepfather, is a Female Producer, Engineer, and CEO of TLSounds Productions. Sounds received her textbook music education while being a student at the Community College of Philadelphia majoring in Music and later being accepted into The Art Institute of Philadelphia, where she studied Audio Production and Engineering. While a student at the Art Institute, Sounds worked as the Production and Engineering Intern for her uncles’ Hip-Hop music label, On Da Ave Records, gaining hands-on knowledge. Not new to the game, Mo Sounds has worked with Philly indie artist and is currently working to build her brand and reputation within the Philly Indie Music Scene. Her sound reflects the authenticity and rawness of 90’s Hip-Hop and her music catalog currently holds 20+ artist ready tracks, which can be found on her SoundCloud. Most recently, Mo Sounds has been a repeated host for Uptown Open Mic Night and is now the talent scout for the weekly open mic nights. Also, The Mo Sounds sound has been featured on season 2 of hit YouTube lesbian web series “Choiices”.
