For the latest edition of Bloom Loops, we’re very happy to welcome the special talents of Sciama. Now based in London, Sciama (Michael) is not only a hugely talented DJ and producer, but also genuinely  one of the nicest people you’ll meet behind the decks or on the dancefloor. 

He’s been steadily making his mark with consistently well-crafted releases on heavyweight imprints like Samurai, Ooda (co-curated by Forest Drives West) and Auxiliary, each showcasing a careful balance of weight, detail and atmosphere. His sound draws influence from UK bass, drum ’n bass, dubstep, hypnotic techno and the more avant-leaning edges of deep techno, all shaped into a signature style that's focused and intentional.

As a DJ, Michael has delivered standout sets at the likes of Ouroboros, Mostra and Perpendicular. Most recently, his powerful 3hr b2b alongside o.utlier at Springkell left a lasting impression. That same clarity and control comes through in this Bloom Loops mix — a bass-heavy, BPM-spanning journey that moves from 140 BPM sdubstep through to 150+ BPM halftime, unfolding with tension, flow and purpose throughout.
