Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new JC Laurent' track remixed by Na Nich on 'Cielo Records'.
French-based label Cielo Records is a techno project from JC Laurent that has so far been a vessel for his own cutting-edge ideas and diverse taste.
Having over ten years of production experience to his name, JC Laurent has released on the likes of Coyu's Suara, Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, and Deepak Sharma's Hidden Recordings amongst others.
Na Nich is a Ukranian artist who features with the solo remix here and can be found on the mighty Delsin Records, Svreca's Semantica, Viels' End of Perception and his own Rhythm Büro.
Second up is the "Comet (Na Nich Remix)" which adds an even more dreamy textures to some elements turning it into a dystopian soundscape.

Having over ten years of production experience to his name, JC Laurent has released on the likes of Coyu's Suara, Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, and Deepak Sharma's Hidden Recordings amongst others. Today we premiere the third track on the EP which steps into a slightly leftfield approach with cyclical tones, shuffling beat and a sci-fi aesthetic.

Having over ten years of production experience to his name, JC Laurent has released on the likes of Coyu's Suara, Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, and Deepak Sharma's Hidden Recordings amongst others.

Starting with "Comet" it's a melting pot of dub techno and modular sound effects with an ethereal, analogue presence.

Second up is the "Comet (Na Nich Remix)" which adds an even more dreamy textures to some elements turning it into a dystopian soundscape.

"Nothing But An Illusion" steps into a slightly leftfield approach with cyclical tones, shuffling beat and a sci-fi aesthetic.

The final track titled "The Switch" is an overall deeper facet of techno that intertwines with a looming intensity.

Danza Nativa has done a great job of establishing its own unique sound in the techno sphere over the last half a decade. Now it marks the occasion of its fifth birthday with a two-part compilation that showcases its avant-garde take on the genre. They tell us that part one has been assembled as a sort of "mental (as in pensive, not deranged) techno album that takes the form of some direct tools for working DJs. An early LDG friend and his third release on LDG, Ricardo Garduno has been an integral part of LDG's history, appeared in Hachijojima rave at the label's launch in 2016. Chaz creates evocative techno sounds thumbing with a rebellious drive. Hypnotic repetitions are essential substances for his production as well as performance. He combines the spirit of the genre with enigmatic production techniques.

His music sits comfortably at the crossroads where galvanised textures collide with undulating rhythms, as a tribute to his strongest inspiration coming from techno artists and labels of the nordic world. Chaz is defying convention and forging his own path through the revered underground current. Approaching his soundscapes with the care of a scrupulous artisan, adding pensive electricity through interesting details — a methodology that has accrued him constant praise from distinguished artistic figures.

The man behind the project, Akshay shares his time between being a music programmer, booker, and an artist. He represents a new generation of artists who not only avoid over-elaboration and unnecessary attachments, but also live on an energetic aura that knows about the past while spreading its tentacles in the present.
