An Inquisite Taste

Before I Disappear

Part 1 of the Unissued Series is the start of a series of releases that focuses on releasing older projects as well as new projects that I am working on in the studio. The idea behind this self-release series is to give my music a platform to speak for itself, both in terms of my creative output and artistic vision. 

One of the main motivations behind this concept was to take back more control of how I truly want to represent myself as an artist. In art, oneself, as the artist, is and should be one's biggest critic as well as one's biggest admirer or fan. In the end, creating art, for me at least, is a form of pure self-expression. By taking more control over my creative output, I seek to further engage in the relationship I have with myself and create the space necessary for further musical exploration. 

Unissued Series Part 1, marks the first of many self releases coming this year. Ranging from straight forward techno cuts to experimental ambient pieces.

At daybreak the four dark walls reveal their windows – the early morning light glows blue-grey onto the hot, wet dancefloor. 
This time feels tinged with death; the witching hour past and her spells since enacted. 
I gaze around the party, swaddled in soft light, the number of bodies is thinned to reveal the fleshy nucleus of dancers and freaks. 
God is with us in these rank depths. 
The party was going before I arrived and it’ll be going after I leave – it is endless in tomorrow's simple, blue light. 
These four tracks are my contributions to the endlessness, my additions to the kick drum’s torrential stream.

Piner is the alias of White Owl Records co-founder Jack Cavenaugh. 
Under this moniker he produces inventive body-music in between hard- and soft-wares. 
His second EP on the label, titled “Daybreak”, offers four vibrant, focused club tracks. 
Piner manifests a refined palette drawn from his time spent on dancefloors. 
“Daybreak” injects left-field sound design practices and syncopated percussive riffs into the skeleton of propulsive, dissociative techno.

The new chapter of Tienmcateteng's Binomious Artist is Ammonia Mode EP made by the techno legend Gez Varley aka G-Man ex LFO and Dez (Random/Noize).
Ammonia Mode EP celebrates a long lasting friendship and collaboration between Gez and Dez.
Different but linked by a Classic Old School style, more dub and raw the Gez's one and absolutely rude and dark the ones of Dez, they share the same minimalism producing their tracks.
These traits are reflected in their own original mixes, Gez Varley's Mode 1 and Drinking Ammonia by Dez, then cleverly blended in the reciprocal remixes.
A perfect duet, brothers in sound, give us a striking Pure Classic Techno.
