“Disobedience” est le fruit d’une symbiose percussive et brutale d’artistes Rennaises, Chilienne et Néerlandaise. L’ascenscion stridente de la noise expérimentale au hardcore, en passant par l’indus, est un appel à défendre nos libertés et à refuser de nous soumettre. La désobéissance est une arme ! Nous ne pouvons plus nous mobiliser et contester sur le dancefloor mais nous perpétuons notre militantisme à travers la musique et toute sa puissance. 

Namscha donne le ton avec une track lourde et sacrée, en hommage au culte de Cybèle et aux Sibylles, des prophétesses qui créaient des œuvres de divination. Dans sa création full hardware, Dj Padset retranscrit une période sinistre et chaotique liée à l'oubli de ce qu'on vivait avant, au manque de lâcher prise et traduit une résignation inévitable. Au contraire, “Ninety Nineteen Nine” de Esther Duijn fait référence au morceau légendaire de Prince. Sa track est destinée aux heures de pointe dansantes, sombres et torrides des clubs car pour elle on ne peut attendre le jour où nous pourrons à nouveau faire la fête comme si c’était 1999. La techno obscure et lourde sert d’échapatoire à Unsure qui a créé une véritable chute de l’enfer à coup de kicks hardcore et de reverse bass et Allison Trench nous ouvre le chemin à coup de couteaux trancheants pour la liberté de tous.te.s d’exister sans peur.

Cette compilation est une invitation à la réflexion sur nos libertés et sur le besoin de les récupérer pour inventer le monde de demain. Elle incite la construction d’une alliance, pour que chacun.e puisse exprimer son humanité et que nous célébrions ensemble nos différences.

Iona grew up in the rave culture because of her parents who were part of one of the first sound systems in France, she gets the hardcore soul from her father. She is mixing hardcore and 90s sounds for 5 years. Also, she works for the French webzine Electro News, she writes a "mémoire" studying the representation of techno music in the French press since the 90s.
