White Owl Records are a vinyl and digital label based in Brooklyn, USA who have a focus on live and machine-driven techno from its wonderful underground scene, featuring artists such as TWR72 and Concrete Husband.

The newest EP welcomes Talker, who is known for his epic live sets and dance floor ready tracks from a perspective that melds American bass music and modular techno with a masterful understanding of sound design and production. 
His own label, Grand Prix Recordings, is home to leftfield electronics that itch the brain.

The first track "Notsender" has a brooding mood from its broken beat rhythm and abstract percussion elements. 
Sharp, fluttering modular tones add an equally whimsical and mind-altering aspect to this weird and wonderful opener.

"Ichor" ease in with a suspenseful, groove-building intro. 
Its marching kick and throbbing bassline provide the driving force while analogue textures bring it to life like a machine that came to life.

"Overstayer" uses a stripped back beat for a warm and functional foundation, but its searing and dystopian synth lead sound growls and morphs in this scorching, dance floor weapon.

"It's Not the Archer, It's the Arrow" opts for a chunky, jackin' flow to close the release out. 
Its rolling and shuffling drums create an instant energy, and the pulsing tones are simply essential for a dark laser and strobe-filled room.

The VA is to fundraise money for Georgia & contributions against the ongoing political situation there as a collaboration between re:flect recordings & Klangangriff.

Georgia’s democracy is under threat - along with its progressive communities & the country’s vibrant cultural & creative landscape.

We are deeply shocked to witness how the Georgian government continues to distance itself from the EU, and democratic values – acting against the will of the overwhelming majority of its people.

Freedoms of assembly, art, expression & speech, as well as the rights of minorities, including the LGBTQIA* community, are being increasingly curtailed. These repressive moves are backed by laws that have been copied almost word for word from Kremlin policy. Protests against the regime have been met with systematic repression, and the number of political prisoners is rising. Nevertheless, people have taken to the streets for 200 days – with marches drawing record-breaking crowds.

With our fundraiser campaign, supported by various artists from we aim to collect donations for local (sub)cultural spaces – such as clubs and community venues where progressive-minded people gather – as well as for NGOs that promote independent media, queer visibility, and minority rights.

Furthermore, we believe it is crucial to raise awareness in the so-called Western world about the political shift in Georgia & Russia's growing influence. Sadly, these developments receive far too little coverage in mainstream media – even within the "club scene". That’s why this campaign will also support organizations working in western Europe to raise visibility, host events & demonstrations, and publicly call out the Kremlin-aligned oligarchs in Georgia’s ruling class – urging the EU to take action!

As with our successful Ukraine Fundraiser Collection – which has already raised nearly €7,000 – 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the selected projects. This time, we are collaborating with the international collective Klangangriff, based in Switzerland and Georgia.

Sublunar and Sciahri are proud to welcome Paris-based Tunisian artist Clotur to the label. 
Known as the head of Warok Music, Clotur makes his debut on Sublunar with "Rétro Rêverie", a uniquely diverse EP that showcases his impressive creativity and his ability to move across different shades of techno with ease and personality. 

The journey begins with "Glitch Parade", an eccentric yet infectious track driven by a captivating groove that immediately pulls you in. "Dataline" follows, offering a sleek balance between minimalism and modern textures while maintaining a distinct identity. 

On the B-side, "Ghost Transmission" delivers a sultry bassline and seductive vocal elements that infuse the track with a warm, groovy atmosphere. "Patala" brings an old-school flavor into the mix, standing out with its refreshing and instantly recognizable character. The closing track "Rétro Rêverie" lives up to its name: hypnotic and epic, with celestial soundscapes and an evocative vocal that give the EP a powerful and spacious ending. 

As a digital-only bonus, "Mirage" takes things into deeper territory. A slow-paced and minimal cut that blends various influences into a deeply emotional and immersive listening experience.
