Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the German dj & producer Mørbeck (Code Is Law).

Since his early youth Berlin born Mørbeck was involved in the club scene of the German capital. 
Inspired by 90s Hip Hop and Techno he set up his first studio in 2002 and began producing music of both genres.
In 2013 he founded his own imprint Code is Law as a platform for his own music and for artists who shared his vision and passion for Techno. 

The love for the art and the striving for versatility can be observed not only in his work for the label but also in his DJ sets.
Besides playing at numerous clubs and festivals all across the globe, he was also a resident DJ at Monasterio(Moscow) and Stattbad(Berlin). 
More recently you can find him playing formidable back to backs with close friend Under Black Helmet.

The 'German Wizard' delivers an exclusive mix for our Christmas slot, transitioning between dreamy swirling landscapes and more rough & constantly evolving techno, that will transport you to a place where time stops and dancing reigns supreme.

Inhalt der Nacht is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, defined by a singular sound imprint inspired by cold wave and new wave beats. 

Through his productions, Inhalt Der Nacht, gives us his own interpretation of EBM-fused Techno.

He has already been noticed by well-known artists as Dax J and created his own label called 'Lebendig' (@lebendigtrax). He also enjoys a residency at the famous Berlin club Griessmuehle (@griessmuehle).

Lorenzo Raganzini is co-founder and resident artist at HEX Barcelona. The guys created an outstanding event series in their homebase and shaped the scene with proper underground vibes. In 2019 he launched the official label of HEX, named HEX Recordings. With a first release both on digital and vinyl, produced by him along with PØLI and including remixes from Regal, Zanias, Insolate, VII Circle, VSK, Alignment, Nico Moreno, AWB, Farceb and Svarog, the brand demonstrated the wide international support received by many respected artists from the industry. Behind the name Sept stands Warsaw based DJ, producer and live act artist, who started the project back in 2015. From the very whole begging he is involved into running Berlin based label, as an A&R - Voxnox Records. Blush Response is Joey Blush, a Cuban-American artist and sound designer hailing from NUC who now resides in Berlin. Blush cut his teeth doing programming work for artists such as Fear Factory, Rhys Fulber, Cristian Castro, and as a touring member of Joey Jordison (Slipknot)'s alternative rock project Scar the Martyr. A fascinating, vibrant new artist, frequenting the outer realms of post punk, industrial, techno, you-name-it and has a plethora of releases on cd, vinyl, digital and even cassette tape format to date on labels like Sonic Groove, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Ant-zen, and Total Black

The intention behind blush response is to always push the limits of sound, structure, and perception, creating a modern version of what he perceives industrial music to be: brutal, inventive, uncompromising and always innovative. Throbbing Gristle, Surgeon or Front 242 have left audible traces in his sound, and his goal is to recapture the core spirit of these originators, and then to evolve it even further. Performing on hardware synthesizers is a big part of the essence of Blush Response. His approach is very ‘hands on’ and thus 90% of the changes you hear on his sounds are done by hand without any automation. Blush believes in performative gestures over cut and paste editing, and strives to explore the limits of human-machine interactions. His live performances are 100% improvised and mostly unplanned which includes mistakes and happy accidents, and this philosophy is also reflected in his studio work.

Blush Response's music is characterized by a heavy approach to sound design, combining rough, glitch-heavy beats with thick, distorted synths. Pounding, head-tripping kick drums intermix with abrasive, dark sequences generating huge walls of cavernous sonics. A pulsating slice of straightforward noise-filtered techno with a good dose of industrial and EBM influences while blush's improvising skills enable a sound that blurs the lines between these genres. A barely tamed beast, biting and piercing holes in eardrums and somehow magically managing to make your feet tap along or, at considerable volume, rave.
