MELANIA . is a polish artist based in Berlin, who’s musical adventure began by the end of 2014. Since then she regulary plays Worldwide in well known venues. She's also known for her rhythmic noise, post industrial alias - Harsh Mentor. She has carved out her mark in the scene with releases on [aufnahme + wiedergabe], Instruments of Discipline, Oraculo Records, Subsist Records, Labrynth, and others. She also holds a residency at the Projekt Lab in Poznan where she's co-founded the Verzerrung club nights which mostly focuses on the industrial side Techno and more. Her selection is completely focused on her feeling, thereby it stays beyond limitations to a specific genre.

GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He is a vinyl only DJ and record collector - Irish, currently based in London.
• He runs the @warehouse-manifesto label, with the first vinyl release out in earlier this year. A limited edition picture disc featuring electro tracks released in digital format only previously on Bass Agenda Recordings. Two more vinyl releases planned for release in 2022.
• He curates the Warehouse Manifesto mix series which he started in 2021. Some of his guests to date include Umwelt, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Jensen Interceptor, Sync 24 and Alienata.
• Most notably, he supported The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.
• Gamadon has previously had his mixes published by labels such as Bass Agenda, Dark Science Electro, Archaic, Gated, Gladio Operations, Nocta Numerica, Vortex Tracks, Distrito 91, Masa Series, Lepton, Hilltown Disco, Digital Distortions, Glory Berlin, Noise To Meet You and Elektrodos.

Lost In Ether | Origin Series | Somnolent Works

BIO:
Józef Flakus, also known as Somnolent Works, is a producer, DJ, and music explorer based in Upper Silesia. He is passionate about breakbeat/jungle rhythms, old school electro, and techno music, often with robotic and strong elements. He loves to break conventions and explore new musical directions taken from different genres of music. The gritty and atmospheric landscape of factories, mines, and steelworks of his hometown region has had a significant impact on his music, particularly in its darker and more experimental elements. Somnolent Works' sound often reflects the mechanical rhythms and metallic textures of the industrial world, as well as the resilience and perseverance of the people who lived and worked in the region.
He is a regular member of the CEL club in Katowice, where he can be heard playing his eclectic selections from behind the decks. His latest releases include his debut EP titled "Surface Noise," which was self-released at the end of 2021. The EP showcases his distinctive style of noisy breakbeat rhythms, while also exploring new musical directions. In late 2022, he released the "Paperclip" single on the SKAN label compilation, which further demonstrated his ability to craft intricate and immersive soundscapes within the electro genre. On March 23rd, 2023, he is set to premiere a larger release on the POTOP label in Katowice.

✈ We are delighted to welcome Berlin based dj and producer Jamaica Suk.

Long musician and experimenter, Jamaica Suk has fused her jazz and metal roots from the Bay Area California with a feel for soulful techno, a combination that makes her at home leading driving dancefloor workouts across Europe. With her own vinyl label Gradient and accompanying event series, atop extensive activity as DJ and producer, she has found in Berlin a platform for the breadth of her musical versatility.

In her signature distorted melodies and hints of melancholic bass guitar, you might hear where Jamaica started – studying bass guitar in her teens, play-ing in jazz and grindcore, math rock and shoegaze bands, before getting deep into the Bay Area’s house and techno underground. Jazz musician by day, DJ by night, she quickly became established throwing monthly parties at 222 Hyde Street and in grimy area warehouses. Technology was an early passion, too, including completing an Audio Engineering program at San Francisco’s respected Pyramid. That combination of technology and musi-cal chops, meeting with an intuition for minimalism and repetition from Reich and Pan Sonic to techno classics, perfectly set up the move to Berlin.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the British dj & producer ROMMEK (Blueprint Records / Weekend Circuit).

As a recent emerging artist, Rommek has shown promising developments in his own sound, as well as carving his way into the current techno scene. 
His extensive interest in sound design is embedded within the atmospheric, dynamic and textured tracks he produces. 
His debut, 'Thought Patterns EP' on the London based label Weekend Circuit, established his position on the map. 
Since then, various releases have proven his wide appeal through the combination of the energetic, gritty UK sound coalesced with deep and transcendental aspects.

Ryuji Takeuchi kindly gifted us his immense set for HAGANE, Osaka past August. 

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka and first came into contact with electronic music in the early 90s. In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno, House and Electro Music. As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, Innervate, Silent Steps, Brood Audio.
 
In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as a platform for new generation of electronic sound. A few years after he kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a new platform, which discloses something new, only represented by HueHelix, together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.
