In the run-up to the Unmasked event on the 9th of October, we are electrified to publish a mix by Dahc Dermur VIII, an iconic global entity and walking piece of art, a figurehead in London nightlife, member of Kaos family and a powerful voice in our community.

Each of his sets is designed to parallel with the human condition, emotional cinematic scores that are musical paintings set to performance, colored with influences of butoh and Japanese film noir, utilizing elements of experimental techno, power electronics, industrial soundscapes, ambient, classical, dark wave and ebm.

UNMASKED DISCUSSION 125 | DAHC DERMUR VIII

Mina Lord is producing electronic music since 2017 after being a drummer in grunge, punk and metal bands. Utilized a whole spectrum of music expression in her own productions she creates whole worlds and atmospheres for the audience to dive in to. A deep interest in the interaction of visuals, space and sound, results in linking these elements together right at the foundation of a project. In December 2019 she had the debut event of her own music and art collective The Twelve Prophets, where she invites and collaborates with other artists to explore the link between music, visuals, technology and space.

Pleased to upload a recording mix from the famous Serbian duo Ontal a  fav  collaboration project since 2013.   In this world, there is no place for the constantly recycled concepts of darkness and destruction that dominate certain genres. Neither is there place for the hedonistic simplicity of other genres. In fact, there is no place for genres at all. Progress and future are the only focus.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Belgian dj & producer 6SISS (R&S Records / 47).

Peter Adriaenssens’ production technique has been described as dark, hypnotic and rhythmic while his music masterfully draws constituent elements from IDM and Industrial Techno.
With releases on R&S Records & UX he provides bruising off kilter rhythms stagger and lurch in mesmerising ways that undercut the 4:4 hegemony are sure to confuse and delight dancefloors in equal measure.
