This time on FPR, we're joined by two all time faves of the FP camp - Stefan Ringer and Casino Times. 

Casino Times is the project of UK producers Joseph Spencer & Nicholas Church. The duo have released a broad swathe of dance music via labels like Futureboogie, Permanent Vacation, Omena Records & Wolf Music. They're also behind the white label Casino Edits series, which released the fifth edition last month. Their next release is due on Cimmerii’s ‘Universal Language‘ label this spring, featuring two original tracks that explore the frustrations of communication in a digital age. They threw us a mix that just bumps.

After that, it is time for Stefan Ringer. Stefan, fka REKchampa, is a DJ and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. Since he started releasing music in 2010, he has built up a wild discography on NDATL, PPU, Argot, and his own imprint FWM Entertainment. He is an influential force in Atlanta’s dance community, with a residence at the Sound Table with Ash Lauryn, and his own monthly party called Kudzu. Stefan is one of the most sound people around, and this mix is absolutely one for the books.

Sound Signature: An event, emotion, or feeling described by sound, but not limited to it. Expression given a direction. A focus through arrangement, our personal language at any given moment. No one can duplicate your signature, your mark, your life.

The difference between imitation and emulation is specific experience. No one else has walked your path, lived your vision.

There is no right or wrong way, only different ways as there are different people. We will learn reverence from each other through expressing our symbols, our hieroglyphs. This is my attempt to share mine.
