Lower Level is the alias of an electronic musician and DJ based in Glasgow, Scotland. He draws inspiration from themes such as extraterrestrial contact, interdimensional travel, and altered states of consciousness – expressing them through a dark and gritty orchestration of heavy-hitting sci-fi sounds. After years in the studio creating tracks and edits, he is now releasing his back catalogue through his own label, whilst continuing to push things forward with new productions and projects.

He has played at various raves and club nights – most notably as a resident of the infamous after-hours parties on Cheapside Street, which gained a cult following before the venue was targeted and closed down by police. His sets are a deep and driving journey through the history of techno and trance, which pay full attention to the dance floor and no attention to fashion.
