For our next instalment of Trommel InSession we present a mix from somewhat of a Renaissance Man. Barcelona-based DJ, producer, label head and Subwax vinyl distribution director Baldo has many many strings to his bow. Having been presenting his musical vision firstly with Neovinyl Recordings and latterly the widely supported Physical Education Baldo has been a major part of the music industry since day one. Also, providing tracks for imprints such as Permanent Vacation, Small Hours, Running Back it is clear from this range of top labels that Baldo has many sounds in his locker.

Speaking with the Subwax boss he explains his part to play in presenting music in advance, “Running a distribution company that helps to manufacture the records gives me the privilege to have access to music months in advance before they are being released.” Baldo goes on to give us the lowdown on his mix, “In the case of this mix most of them are unreleased, and since I've been playing these tracks in my latest gigs I noticed straightaway from the crowd feedback that many of these will be future hits." Stitching together tracks from Man/ipulate, Liquid Earth, the Limousine Dream label, Fio Fa, Occcibel, Alex Kassian Baldo shows just why he is the go to selector for the best parties both home and abroad.

As a self taught musician, Franco started experimenting with music at a very young age. After spending many years studying music theory and performing as a live drummer throughout the United States, he began focusing on the engineering side of production and recording. During this time he found a profound love for the art of creating and collecting electronic music records. Franco Alexander A.K.A Vincent is now a staple in the Miami underground dance music community. He’s had the pleasure to open for heavyweights such as Varhat, John Dimas, Sepp, Traumer, Julian Perez, Janeret, Bihn, Cesar Merveille, Omar S, and many more. Based in Miami, you can find him performing around town as a live drummer, working as an engineer/instructor and as one of the main resident DJs for Un_Mute.

Como músico autodidacta, Franco comenzó a experimentar con la música a una edad muy temprana.
