"Guruvastakam" is a devotional music track produced by Sounds of Isha, a group of musicians associated with the Isha Foundation. The track's intention is to evoke a sense of love and reverence towards the Guru or spiritual teacher, through the use of traditional Indian instruments and chants. The track was uploaded to SoundCloud by a fan for others to enjoy, without any commercial intent.

Bhajagovindam is a beautiful composition  by Jagatguru Sri Adi Sankaracharya where He preaches man to spend his time in contemplation of the Lord and cultivate an attitude of detachment towards all worldly matters and stop wasting away life in futile pursuits of acquiring mundane pleasures and groveling in the mire of earthly attachments.
Swami always gave us the importance of Bhajagavindam in His many discourses. It is also included in the Bal Vikas Courses.

Её передние руки сложены в благословляющем жесте, дарующем Божественное благо. В двух других руках она обычно держит по лотосу. Её способность даровать нам благополучие в жизни символизируется золотыми монетами, сыплющимися из её рук в океан жизни.

Но прежде следует вызывать Ганеша, управителя препятствиями, что бы расчистить путь для успеха. Несмотря на то, что есть специальные мантры и молитвы, с помощью которых пробуждают Ганеша.

Люди часто обращаются к нему просто: «Ом, Ганеша, Ом Ганеша, Ом Ганеша». Ганеша убирает препятствия и теперь Лакшми дарует Вам благополучие. Лакшми и Ганеша часто образуют пару, идущую бок о бок. Мы видим их совместное изображение на различных картинах.

Основным партнёром Лакшми однако, считается Бог Вишну – известный как Главный Хранитель, спускающийся на землю в виде воплощений, таких как Кришна. Лакшми реинкарнируется во всех человеческих жизнях, и поэтому представляется как пример неумирающей любви. Считается, что те, кто уделяет внимание Богине Изобилия каждый день, налаживает постоянную связь с Ней. This Yogeshwaraya chant in Raag Shankara, is a musical offering by Pandit Jasraj to Adiyogi.

In the Indian tradition, Shiva, the Adiyogi has many forms, each of which represents a powerful possibility for inner evolution. Yogeshwaraya - meaning the lord of Yoga - is a musical offering to Adiyogi by Sounds of Isha, Pandit Jasraj and Rakesh Chaurasia.

In the yogic tradition, Shiva is not worshiped as a God. He is the Adiyogi, the first Yogi, and Adi Guru, the First Guru from whom the yogic sciences originated. Guru Purnima is celebrated as the day when Adiyogi began the transmission of these sciences to the Saptarishis, his first seven disciples. So this Guru purnima, this is our musical garland. An offering of different renditions of the Yogeshwaraya chant to the Adiyogi.
