Label info:  This is the 16th Submarine Vibes release, made by German producers Chris Robin & Jonas Saalbach. These two guys bring us beautiful deep track with warm melodies and easy groove. EP includes remixes by Hibrid and Jelly For The Babies. Both of remixes show us different dimensions of original track. Jelly's remix is well rounded with contagious bassline which constantly keeps us on the edge. On the other hand Hibrid presents us lighter variation of original track, full of maginficent and unusual pads.

Consumerism and freedom
The song "Society," performed by Eddie Vedder, directly criticizes the relationship between consumerism and personal freedom. The line "We have greed with which we have agreed" highlights how society accepts, almost without question, the constant pursuit of more material goods. This idea connects to the story of Christopher McCandless, portrayed in "Into the Wild," which inspired the song. McCandless abandoned everything to pursue a more authentic life, free from the pressures of consumerism and social expectations.
The lyrics also emphasize that the search for "more" is never complete: "And you think you have to want more than you need / Until you have it all you won't be free." Vedder, interpreting Jerry Hannan's composition, suggests that true freedom is only possible by breaking this cycle. The line "Society, you're a crazy breed / Hope you're not lonely without me" has an ironic, farewell tone, demonstrating the narrator's distance from prevailing values. By asking, "But if less is more, how are you keeping score?", the song points out that even simplicity can be transformed into competition. Thus, "Society" proposes a reflection on what truly matters for happiness and the meaning of life.

By composing a sensory musical backdrop to three imagined film sets, Jugurtha has crafted an EP that thrives in our imaginations. Odalisque paints the picture of a Peplum film shoot, one that materializes with flying colors across fertile Oriental landscapes. For each scene, a magnetic downtempo song organically strings together traditional and modern instrumentation, sound recordings, artful vocals and poetry excerpts, while remixes from fellow dreamers complement this desert house with darker grooves and/or dance floor drives.

On the set, activity flourishes. A sea of costumed figures roam about in a cacophony of sounds, colors, and smells.
