@Awo_Ojiji underground export from the @Disko404 crew in the Austrian city Graz, has been a quiet favourite since catching an emergent release early on in Ronan's Eternal Ocean label. A scattering of releases hence lead to his 'Solidify' white label for London's @ControlFreakRecordings.

Placid aka Paul Wise is the chief in command at ‘We’re Going Deep’ – an online community and record label, born out of a lifelong affair with the many shades of electronic rhythm and obsession for collecting records since 1988.

Known to many in underground House and Techno circles, he’s spent the last 3 decades moving heads and feet at select venues, parties and fields across the UK and beyond. On a mission to share and release new music via his imprint: you’ll find only the best in Acid, Electro, IDM, Techno and Deep House for the dance floor, front room or even just your headphones. 

For the latest solo series edition, Paul reaches out to the talents of UK based songwriter and producer James Shinra, for a heavyweight 4 track EP of 303 fuelled excursions.  Hitting the floor head on with the muscular tones of “Jaunt” on A1 – punchy 808 percussion builds with jarring rave-etched synthesis, before rushing into the roar of a 303 grabs you by the scruff of the neck and unleashes a rolling groove that jacks hard until the twisted end. Do not be fooled by the calmer overtures of A2 “Venture”, Shinra unleashes another rolling 4 to the 4 floor workout. Balancing airy leads and shifting pads to precision programmed beats, the TB saws its way through to maximum frequency exposure over the course to brazen effect.

On the B-Side, B1 “WASP” takes control via deeper bass tones, squelching tweaks and A-A-Acid vocal chants, all paced at a solid mid-tempo groove that really brings things to the boil: just when you need it. Signing off with the stunning IDM inflected melodies of “Flexion” on B2 – Shinra shows his mastery of space and warmth with this beautifully balanced slice of Electronica that really is the icing on the cake.

Boulderhead and okayokayokay join forces to deliver a six-track EP on Mint Tea: Small Point Places.

Over many weeks and months the two bounced audio and project files across the ether, both finishing each others unfinished tunes to create the EP.

Boulderhead, a Bristol-based producer renowned for his intricately crafted, up-tempo productions, and okayokayokay, celebrated for his fusion of breakbeats, house, and trance. Both combine their talents to take listeners on a journey through shimmering synths, rolling basslines, and intricate percussive patterns, all carefully combined into something that feels equally at home on the dancefloor as it does the post-party winddown.

Cowper’s low, slow, dark and experimental beats go deep into hypnotic psychedelia weaving together a woozy trip of ambient, new beat, EBM and trance. 

With a soundscape as eclectic as it is bass-heavy, it’s no wonder Cowper comes from the counter-cultural hub of Bristol, the UK city known for stretching the limits of sound, where he runs the Between Stations party and a monthly show on Noods Radio.

The multi format label run by Filippo MSM (of Metropolitan Soul Museum) is back with its 7th release overall, this time on wax. This new collection continues to show Filippo’s predilection for music with non straight forward drum patterns and moody melodies.

Volume Three is a well thought mix of styles, spanning to and from two Trance oriented tracks from Rambal Cochet and The Mesmerist through the broken techno of Doc Sleep, Jack Bags’s all analogue Acid House track, The Jaffa Kid’s uncompromising Drexcian’s Electro and Undsidedly dreamy’s own take on the genre.

Two months after releasing 'Swinging Flavors #13' from Naco, Milan-based imprint Beat Machine gears up to issue 'Nebula Dub Explorations' LP from Treviso-based producer Antonio Marini, better known as Healing Force Project...Our standout track from the album is "Open The Doors Of Time And Space". The producer embarks on a cosmic pilgrimage, navigating the shadowy corridors of intergalactic lineage and unraveling a space-time collapse that pushes dubstep's experimental boundaries. The track kicks off with disorienting soundscapes, evoking the pull of unseen gravitational forces, before swiftly transitioning into fractured drum patterns and elongated basslines. In the second half, the track erupts into feverish bursts of breakbeats, building a tension-soaked crescendo that grips the listener in its orbit.

lera began her dj journey in 2020 with kharkiv's Kultura Zvuka and later moved to kiev, building her vinyl collection and exploring the electronic music scene. after forced relocation to wroclaw in 2022 and then dortmund in 2023, she performed at iconic venues like tresor and TES club in georgia, expanding her sound palette. her sets are a complex weave of different styles from techno and house to breakbeat and trance folded into a single canvas that will definitely not leave you indifferent and awaken in you pleasant emotions and the desire to dance.
