Song to the siren

The debut single from a new wave project from Perm, Russia. “Let Me Disappear” is a story about escaping the past, the beauty in decay, and the desire to disappear into one’s own shadows.

Zero Flux is the point where nostalgia for the noughties ceases to be a memory and becomes physical pressure.

The synths are cold, as if blown from the glass of an old monitor.
The bass is slow and deep, as if liquid metal is being pumped under the asphalt.
The rhythm is mechanical but alive: each beat is like someone knocking on an iron door from inside your chest.
And in the center is silence, where you can only hear yourself at fifteen.

This is not a track about the past.
It's a track about the moment when the past finally catches up with you and says:
“I never went anywhere. I was just waiting for you to be ready to feel it again.”
For those who are still searching for that very sound in the night.

Parisian artist with diverse influences, Studerkel draws inspiration from metal, dark disco or EBM to craft intense, atmospheric journeys. His sets explore worlds where melancholy meets cinematic aesthetics, weaving heavy rhythms, hypnotic basslines and evocative textures. Always balancing raw energy with emotional depth, he creates a soundscape that invites both body and mind to wander.
He is also a founding member of the Meteors Recordings label and part of the Punk Issues collective, where his artistic vision extends beyond the DJ booth into a broader creative movement.

This mix is a journey through the night, a descent into the raw energy of punk that mutates into EBM, electro and post punk. Each track follows a path where chaos meets rhythm: distorted voices, mechanical grooves, flashes of rage and moments of pure melancholy.
Driven by instinct, not polish, the sound is rough, physical, sometimes violent, but always human. From the first scream to the last synth line, it’s a story of transformation: losing control, finding beauty, and ending up somewhere unexpected.

With a tongue-in-cheek approach, inspired from my early days, brought into the digital reality of today, and attempting to bring life to all these electronic sounds with my vocals, whether spoken word, harsh or more melodic...This adventure has just started, with more to come, pivoting my own passion project!
