Tally G is back for her fourth installment with the series and we're proud to say we've got another doosey of a mix on our hands. As expected this most talented mixtress delivers another quick moving session full of bangers, and intricate, precise blends. Keeping the flow interesting, artistic, and in rhythm, Tally G drives home a Junglist based session full of dope drums and memorable samples. Bio
Tally G (San Diego), behind the decks off and on for the past two decades, is known
for her diversity as a (mostly) drum and bass DJ, seamlessly blending jungle,
footwork, juke, and neurofunk, among other subgenres, most notably deep, dark,
techy minimal DnB. Every set is a journey, told through a combination of long,
thoughtful transitions, skillfully quick mixing, and energetic double drops guaranteed
to get bodies moving and gun fingers popping. She is one half of Hologynic and one
half of Tex n Bass. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings (USDNB), Siren
Project (NYC), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopation (AZ), and THC Kru
(USDNB) and is the co-founder of El Paso’s DNBtherapy Drum and Bass. Tally G is also
on the board of directors for Siren Project, an all female-identifying collective
dedicated to providing safe spaces for trans-, non-binary, and cis-women performers
who raise funds for various nonprofit organizations. She has played around the United
States and is currently learning music production.

With very little time to prep for this sesh I just wanted to make sure I got in some new music that came out this week. Overall I relied on some tried and true older tracks to fill in the cracks and tried to just keep things rolling along. I'm still in my "experimentation with dancefloor DNB" phase as I'm trying to get in the mindset for some outside summer festival sets — I pushed it into that big room soaring vibe towards the end. A brief story about Some Out Of None as an artist, also goes by the name of ''Yoeri''. Musically raised by the art of bboying better known as breakin/breakdance. Besides loving the process of creating he also collects vinyl and practices the art of dj-ing daily. Since early days he felt passionate about music and how it connects people. Around his teens, he got his first turntables and mixer and started recording mixes through tape decks. Shortly after that he built his own DJ booth with a friend. From there he started collecting music and building a music library for his own listening pleasure.

In the years after he started with bboying'/breakdance and found out about this whole movement and culture. He delved further into currents and influences and got to know a different kind of music. As a dancer he went into organizing dance events and making music. At these activities and meeting many new people, he discovered House music in its purest form. Fascinated by the Chicago and Detroit sounds he got inspired by four to the floor music.

In terms of a musical spectrum he actually moves in all sorts of directions. What is important to Yoeri is that it generates energy, emotion and pureness at all times. In Yoeri's opinion music should uplift you. You might recognize this energy in his music.
