More often on mic, Vispera has returned for Full Spectrum to the decks. Since stepping onto the scene a couple years back, she has been making a name for herself and her visceral, poetic MCing style.

 Having made her professional debut at Full Spectrum's 2nd Birthday event, Vispera has since hosted rave spaces up and down the country and earned residencies in Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester. 

While lyrically focused, it was through Saffron’s Mix Nights course that this artist learned to DJ, she’s not quite forgotten how to just yet. Bringing together shades of minimal, jungle, skat, soulful, even jump up, her mixes are an ode to the kind of music she loves to host. 

New releases are on the horizon next year, keep an eye out for upcoming Vispera tunes and have a listen to her latest selections in the meantime.

Jon returned in 2021, energised by the contemporary jungle and atmospheric sounds, with a new style and several releases in quick succession which merge atmospheric elements with timeless breaks to deliver a mix of both epic dancefloor jungle and serene melodies. Soaring amens, space-age synths and rolling bass combine perfectly in his music and DJ sets which draw on both the classic and modern jungle and atmospheric sounds, from time to time drawing on elements of old-skool breakbeat Hardcore and more mature Liquid and Autonomic vibes.

OctaState & nice nine are drum’n’bass producers and DJs based in St.Gallen. Coming from a live background, they started off in the scene as bassda, a drum’n’bass band recreating those fast beats and basses live on stage. The band is no more, but in 2015 they founded the Local Bass Movement alongside DJ SNES. Since then, the LBM crew has grown organically, now featuring additional members like Rumble, Leaneye and anotha90skid keeping the vibe alive in St.Gallen.
This mix for Bern Bass features a lot of dubs, collabs and exclusive remixes. A few of them showcase the connections OctaState & nice nine have established with other independent and underground artists. Get ready for remixes for synthwave duo Karl Kave & Durian, for swiss dialect band Dachs and for their bass heroes DLR and Total Science!
