My favorite part of this session was probably the first 30 minutes. Really tried to play some deeper, jazzier, minimal cuts and tried to nail the transitions smoothly. The advantage of playing a stream vs a club is I get to play some of this music I would never play for a dancefloor. I think I had a couple of slip ups this session where some mixes got away from me, trying to loop things on the fly, but hey, it happens... Will try to do better next time. Liquid Lovers Lounge (EP50|APR09|2022)

At the time of this writing I have not re-listened to this set, but the impression I got from playing live was that it was sort of ADD. I didn't stick to any particular vibe for very long except for at the beginning. First hour starts off with some jazzy rollers like I've been liking to do recently, then moves into some more angular dubby liquid roller territory, into some broken beat/jungle type vibes. Second hour is a little more tech liquid into some more jumpy roller stuff because I was trying to get in the right key to play a brand new track I've been working  on with some buds (it's okay but still needs polishing and a better mix). We then move into some cosmic uplifting big room synth because I was getting ready to end the set and raid into my buddy's channel. Ended up extending the set with some classic liquid towards the end while waiting for Daddydough to go live. All in all it was fun. Great vibe in the chat with some new faces. Fun energy. I love that you guys are so into this music I love. Always a pleasure playing for you 🖤

Always a fun time linking with the chat crew on Twitch. Started the session off on some deep soul + jazz influenced rollers. Pushed the energy up with some chunky liquid + funk rollers around 45 min in. Second hour went well into angular tech + minimal territory before slipping into some sci-fi liquid towards the end. Some dope new futuristic cuts that I had to play. It was vibes in the chat with some great friends stopping by to check the stream this week.
