Jakub Cichocki also known as Silence Groove, young producer from Poland, became interested in electronic music since his youth. His first trancy EP called "Shiny Snow" was signed in 2010 on Unearthed Recordings.
The track "Seven" released on Terminal-4 appeared on Richard Durand's ISOS 9. He's focused mainly on progressive sound. Since 2011 also known as a drum and bass producer. Now working in collaboration with skeletone and alone. He released his tunes in such labels like:

Was feeling a more chill vibe after putting 'Never too Old' together and as an aside I really appreciate the warm feedback from that set and the show that I played it in, the crowd and our SSS fam showed lots of love and that's why we do this so big ups to the peeps that support. Mad Love.

Got a nice little airy session for the listeners this go round, featuring some fluid tunes from homie Duoscience to lead us off followed by a dope Con-Figure track forthcoming from the Codename:RCRDS homies then rolling off into a real slick tune from Alkali. A nice lead chapter that I'm pretty happy with, vibing into a solid atmospheric section accented by a couple more forthcoming tracks from the up and coming Codename:RCRDS label. 'Revelationist' (Sw3rv3) Freestyle Sessions

I've got a new Session from the String Series for you guys this week. It's something special and a little different from my usual mixes. I've put a lot of time and effort into putting this one together. There's a bit of Liquid, some Downtempo, Electronica, a nice section of Atmospheric, some Jungle and a sprinkling of transitional tracks to help meld together the  different sub-genres and BPM's. I put it together to kind of play like a movie from start to finish. Like I said, it's a bit different, some may like it some may not but I enjoyed the process of creating it and I hope you enjoy the ride of listening.

Sw3rv3 _String Series III Key To Life

Seeing that I just completed the Slimkid3 & Nu-Mark collaboration, I thought it was appropriate to assemble a mix that highlights both Jurassic 5 and Pharcyde at their best. I dug deep in the vaults and uncovered some never before heard multi tracks, unreleased songs and acapellas from old tapes that needed to see the light of day. This is how I’d like to see all 8 MCs from both groups trade the mic. Enjoy!

When was the last time you listened to an actual ‘mixtape’? You probably think of one of the many mixes inhabiting our digital social spheres, which you might give a quick click or a fast listen. Dutch Drum and Bass connoisseurs Lenzman & Dan Stezo go back in time with the launch of their ‘Soul Tape’, an actual 60 minute cassette tape meant for the discerning Drum and Bass lover.

The Soul Tape is a limited give-away. The hand-crafted package comes in a hard-cover box, with additional T-shirt and a variety of stickers - all with custom artwork by Team Blazin'. Besides that The Soul Tape is a ‘cool’ and fresh (but hyper-traditional) take on the mix-format, it stems from Lenzman and Dan Stezo's 90s ritual of making Hiphop tapes for each other in school.

The Soul Tape exhibits tracks from the world’s finest Drum and Bass artists, blended by Lenzman with Dan Stezo’s narrative slang and distinct voice-over. As a combination they have worked together since 2003, and recently increased their collaborative spirit both on stage and on record. 2014 saw their first release ‘Move & Focus’ together as a combination on the esteemed Metalheadz imprint as part of Lenzman's debut album 'Looking At The Stars.

Lenzman’s tremendous success in his genre and his tour the force around the world doesn't keep him from maintaining a close circle. Long time confidant Team Blazin' adds the artwork in the form of handwritten calligraphy which articulates the Hiphop aesthetics, the three artists’ connecting factor and their shared stylistic background.

The Soul Tape is not for sale, as it is an initiative out of love for the craft, the music and their heritage. The 50 limited edition tapes will be given away to fans over a period of time. As it's holiday season, starting with 10 units via a Facebook “Share to Win” competition. Head over to the Metalheadz Facebook page and you might win a copy of The Soul Tape.

Guest Mix Vol. 289 (SoulTec) Exclusive DnB Session

Greetings Sound Stream Sessions listeners, dj's, artists and producers. We appreciate your support of the page over the years, giving us ears to listen to the music we put together and being the lifeblood of this culture we all find such enjoyment in being a part of.

I wanted to give you all something different this time as well as challenge myself to create something new, 'a bit of a break from the norm' if you will. This session started as something completely different in my head, different title, tracks, vibe etc. I put together some nice bits and pieces, using some Electronica tunes seasoned with different samples from movies, documentaries and classic hip hop but the overall vibe just wouldn't come together. Under advice from council (lol) I decided to just 'Lean in to the weirdness'. So that's what I did and this is what came out.

It's a Spacey intro featuring a rendition of Einstein drawing us in to the trip, After that Jazz and Funk vibes start us off with an abstract tone, followed by tracks ranging from dark to vibrant, atmospheric to experimental, with a different angle on mixing here, focusing more on ambient and smooth transitions, sometimes changing vibes abruptly. I know I'm taking a bit of a chance on this one but hey, that's where true creativity comes from right. 

Anyways, hope you dig it. Intended to be more of an experience than a traditional mix. Taking Inspiration and blend style from the Electronica and Hip Hop Realms.

This is a chill little mix I threw together a while back for the new concept series Loungin' and just never got to releasing it. The idea for this series is a spot for mostly laid back jazzy and soulful tunes.
