Sw3rv3's Greatest Hits

A bit of a different angle on this series here, more twists and turns thru different sub-genres and genres. I enjoy using spoken word, samples and different elements of electronica and breakdowns to swerve into different vibes. Alot of complex drums, jungle, spacey crossovers, smooth liquid and rollers, some halftime and dubsteppy tunes. Not for everyone but I like to push the limits every now and then. Will be hosting releases from other artists in this series as well as some team ups. These mixes are also designed to play seamlessly back to back. Enjoy 👊🎧

Abstract Series

I've got a new Session from the String Series for you guys this week. It's something special and a little different from my usual mixes. I've put a lot of time and effort into putting this one together. There's a bit of Liquid, some Downtempo, Electronica, a nice section of Atmospheric, some Jungle and a sprinkling of transitional tracks to help meld together the  different sub-genres and BPM's. I put it together to kind of play like a movie from start to finish. Like I said, it's a bit different, some may like it some may not but I enjoyed the process of creating it and I hope you enjoy the ride of listening.

Seeking Inspiration _Sw3rv3

Finally got the time to put a new Session together for you guys and gals out there, hope you dig it. A little bit of Liquid on the first half starting us off with some nice vocal tracks and a groovy incoming joint from the homie Duoscience. Then we delve into some dope new Atmospheric tunes featuring a few nice ones from the Codename:RCRDS crew, TRC2, and big homie Mineral, and finally we wrap up the hour long journey with a ten minute ride through some throwback dark & jungly, drum heavy tunes from Jack Rapture.

Sw3rv3 _Fever Dream

Greetings Sound Stream Sessions listeners, dj's, artists and producers. We appreciate your support of the page over the years, giving us ears to listen to the music we put together and being the lifeblood of this culture we all find such enjoyment in being a part of.

I wanted to give you all something different this time as well as challenge myself to create something new, 'a bit of a break from the norm' if you will. This session started as something completely different in my head, different title, tracks, vibe etc. I put together some nice bits and pieces, using some Electronica tunes seasoned with different samples from movies, documentaries and classic hip hop but the overall vibe just wouldn't come together. Under advice from council (lol) I decided to just 'Lean in to the weirdness'. So that's what I did and this is what came out.

It's a Spacey intro featuring a rendition of Einstein drawing us in to the trip, After that Jazz and Funk vibes start us off with an abstract tone, followed by tracks ranging from dark to vibrant, atmospheric to experimental, with a different angle on mixing here, focusing more on ambient and smooth transitions, sometimes changing vibes abruptly. I know I'm taking a bit of a chance on this one but hey, that's where true creativity comes from right. 

Anyways, hope you dig it. Intended to be more of an experience than a traditional mix. Taking Inspiration and blend style from the Electronica and Hip Hop Realms.

A little something special for the listeners to finish off this chilly weekend. Now that I've got a little more free time to focus on music I can delve a bit deeper on my sessions . This one flows through a good handful of genres and sub-genres. Starting off with some darker and some jazzy vibes in the 160 to 170 bpm range with some Electronica to help flow into 174. Abstract Series _00 (Sw3rv3) 'Against All Odds'

So here we are once again with another installment of the Abstract Series_ Volume 3 but the 4th mix in the sequence just to keep you ten toes down. B. Helix and myself, Sw3rv3 decided to team up for this one and we've got something special and unique for you guys this week. It's a new year and we're approaching from a different angle just to keep things fresh. To start things off, We composed an original Electronica tune for the session titled 'Simulation Theory' which sets the stage for an abstract and multifaceted journey. Sw3rv3 starts us off with some techy vibes, working from back to front on this first section, leading with some of the heavier tracks of the 2 hour set, dropping a couple bangers and drum heavy tunes from Benny L and Soul Intent. Afterwards we fall into some aesthetics with airy electronica sounds by Inhmost. Following the break we roll into the 170 realm with various accents and energy. After the transition to Disc 2, B.Helix brings the listeners a different sound with the same abstract approach and similar style in sequencing. Utilizing various vibes, genres, and subgenres, He takes us on a ride thru laidback electronica sounds, driving tribal rhythms, spoken word, and smooth, artistic transitions between various spectrums of sound, closing the session with the airy and calm self produced track 'Velvet' (Available for free download here: https://on.soundcloud.com/kxaePkxPfNdEfqJL7 ). A truly talented artist of the craft and member of the culture. 

This two hour session came together well I think, Discs 1 and 2 compliment each other nicely, We hope you enjoy the story.
