I found a groove in the tension, shaping something that felt uniquely mine. The vocal came from an old recording session with a singer I used to collaborate with. The moment I sampled that take, it hit me right in the chest. Raw, emotional and perfectly imperfect. From there, everything fell into place. The rest? Pure instinct.

Sereniteq is the alias of Sebastian, a DJ and musical curator from northern Germany with deep roots in the electronic underground. His journey began in the late '90s at raw techno parties and open-air festivals, where he instantly fell in love with the music and its culture. Early on, his musical style was shaped by the driving sounds of techno, minimal techno and Detroit techno. Over the years, Sebastian explored not only DJing but also music production, until life, a career, and a family took center stage.

Fast forward to September 2024: the spark reignited. Under the Sereniteq brand, Sebastian, aged like fine wine — smoother, deeper, and more musically refined, now channels his passion into The Sereniteq Session, a weekly mix series dedicated to organic house, progressive house, and deep, melodic sounds. He was born in Tuscany, Italy—an enchanting region that deeply influenced his early bond with music.

At the age of 10, he began guitar lessons with an inspiring teacher who nurtured his passion for sound. Around the same time, a childhood friendship opened the door to his neighbor’s vinyl collection, filled with Progressive Rock, Blues, Soul, and Funk. That eclectic mix, combined with his guitar roots, continues to shape his creative approach today.

Beyond DJing and producing, he founded Perceivers, a project that intertwines music, environmental awareness, and personal growth into a unified experience—aimed not just at entertainment, but at connection and inspiration.

His musical journey has led to releases on respected labels such as Freegrant Music, Soundteller Records, and Natura Viva Music, earning support from renowned artists including Miss Monique, Hot Since 82, and Eelke Kleijn.

He also served as a resident DJ at Dragonfruit AU, performing at prestigious venues across Australia, and is now part of Outra, a forward-thinking Australian collective that challenges the boundaries of music.

Refusing to confine music to genres, he believes that art is meant to break molds, not conform to them. With a love for arpeggios, emotional depth, and the energy of raves, every set he plays is a story—an invitation to feel, explore, and connect through the universal language of music.
