In the autumn of 2009 a good friend of Sagou gave him for his birthday a by that time unknown album with a very remarkable cover; a big white X on a black background. It was the debut album by English Indie Pop band ‘The XX’. 

Immediately after the needle touched the vinyl Sagou fell in love with the melancholic, intimate sound which combined influences of the genres R&B, Rock, Electronica and even punk. 
Especially the deep organic bass line and the dark atmosphere of the track ‘Fantasy’ made such an impression that now, ten years later, Sounom & Sagou made a remix of it with the same warmth and emotions as the original but with a driving groove and extra moody elements added so the beauty of ‘Fantasy’ now also can be enjoyed on the dance floor.

With some strong releases already under their belt this year on labels like Modern Agenda and Cinematique and more to come before the end of 2019 on Babiczstyle and Lowbit Records, this Free Download again shows that this duo is on fire lately.

Nice to meet you! We are Sounom and Sagou two dedicated music lovers with a huge passion for melodic techno & progressive house.

Our love for electronic music began 20 years ago when we explored new raves in Holland & Germany. We were thrilled by these new vibes and still are. 

In 2009 we started to make our own productions and releases on Manual Music, Cinematique, Flemcy Music, Or Two Strangers ,Babicz style & Modern Agenda.

For the last couple of years we were monthly residents at the HeavensGate Deep Show on www.di.fm in which we played a one-hour-mix accompanied by a guest mix by dj's like Guy J, Steve Parry, Estroe, Brian CID, BOg, Tripswitch, Stan Kolev, Tim Engelhardt, to name a few.

Our music is supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Miss Melera, Eelke Kleijn, Jamie Stevens, Gai Barone and many others.

We have worked together with the following artists: 
Kamilo Sanclemente, Robert, Babicz. Amber Long, Boss Axis, Golan Zocher, Tim Engelhardt, Danny Lloyd, East Cafe, Paul Hazendonk, Mario Hammer, Juliane Wolf, MR.MNT.

Since December 2018 we have our own show called 'MelodicLab' which is streamable via our Soundcloud. 

If you cannot find us in our studios producing or mixing, you might find us dancing to new cool underground sounds in clubs in Germany or Holland, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Desperados or a shot of tequila Gold, with cinnamon and a slice of orange! We also love traveling to Ibiza where we enjoy the sunny days, tapas and the relaxed vibe!
