Not going to lie it's been a lot harder to work on music now that i'm working full time but this has been a culmination of 6 months of work and a little nudge and support from Jolynne to get this one out.

Hellooo again everyone! I'm a HUGE Taylor Swift & Illenium fan! These two amazing artists have inspired me so much, so I wanted to make a mix that could combine the two artists. Shoutout to Matt Who & TZUNAAMI for some of the inspirations! Here's a little backstory of what the two artists have done for me:

When I first moved to America, it was very difficult for me to learn English. One day, however, my classmates introduced me to Taylor Swift! From then on, I remember coming home each day and listening to her music as a way for me to learn the language! (I also own all of her albums up until Reputation LOLOL)

Illenium was one of the FIRST electronic music artists that I listened to! His overall message was about rebirth and change, which was VERY relatable to me at the time! And through his music, I fell in love with electronic music (and pretty much all of its genres) and started attending shows!

Hello again everyone! Here's the SECOND edition / volume of "Red Embers" from last year! After seeing so many recordings of The Eras Tour (and not being able to go myself...), I knew that I HAD to make a mix! So with that being said... This is a project idea 2 whole years in the making, and finally this year in 2023, all the pieces fell together into this incredible project that I couldn't be more proud to share with you all. Illenium was the first EDM artist I ever saw live in 2019 for Ascend.  It was literally way up in like the 400 section or something LOL, but it was a life-changing experience for me.  It opened my eyes to raving & electronic music and I can't imagine my life without either.  🥹

In honor of Trilogy 3.0 in LA coming up, I wanted to make a mix that revisits a LOT of his discography & remixes as well as mashups & VIPs he’s played at his live shows before (with my own twists of course 😉)!
