An alt-rock band from Central PA, Soup Can Kitty was largely active between 2007-2015. Lead Vocalist Paul Bertrand (Paulie Volcano) wrote a series of songs that detailed some of the most unavoidable, but emotional, moments a person will experience, and he was determined bring it to the public to light the world on fire. 

Now, 16 years after the original project began, he and the band are coming together to release the unfinished songs that ultimately comprised the album "Far Away From Here." 

Previously performing under the band names "Snatch '($)'," and "SevenOne City '(71c)'," Paul and bandmates Yoshi (Anthony Lyrisits), Fish (Brandon Fish), Tom (Thomas Peters), Mike (Michael Leamons), and Nate (Nathan Billet) are excited to finally release the tracks that explored the 10 years (ages 17 to 27) of highs and lows that everyone has to conquer, in one way or another, to create the moments we ultimately consider the "story of our lives." 

"Far Away From here" is the perfect narrative for those who long for the relatability of the '90s greats but are lost when finding their anthem. The rallying cry of wasted youth in the age of social media. Disenfrachised youth who never cared about "influencers." And, of course, the myriad methods of escaping reality at the touch of a button.
