Release Info: 
Watergate regular Henri Bergmann returns to her Automatik label this April with the five-track Higher Dimension EP. Higher Dimension and Ordinary People will be released on 8th April with the full EP dropping on 22nd April. The UK talent has enlisted several industry heavyweights on remix duties, including Jonathan Kaspar, Mark Hoffen and 19.26, whilst her husband Wennink features on the lead track as vocalist.

Speaking on the release, "the track was inspired by spending so much more time at home during lockdown. Normally, Oli and I work very separately and have two studios. This all changed during the pandemic, and very organically we started to collaborate on a few ideas, and Higher Dimension came out of that process. Of course it also doesn't hurt to have an in-house vocalist on hand!" Henri

The title track leads proceedings, taking the form of a synth-heavy, futuristic-leaning number. Henri describes it best: "Musically we wanted a hard-hitting deep track, with an infectious melodic lead synth line that would compliment a low and rousing vocal." Ordinary People comes next, taking on a darker feel through pummeling kicks and a fast, techno-inspired tempo..

Leading electronic producers and composers Anyma (from Tale Of Us) and Chris Avantgarde join forces to create a new collaboration “Consciousness”. 

Anyma’s first vocal single of 2022 follows  his widely celebrated, Kate Bush inspired single “Running,” which has  been a cross genre staple within electronic music since its release back in late 2021.

By combining Anyma’s dominant synthesisers and Chris Avantgarde’s scoring talents the track balances an eerie robotic vocal, detailing the  definition of consciousness itself - atop frenetic drums and robust synths. Anyma has been busy touring as one half of the esteemed techno duo Tale Of Us, where “Consciousness” has become the opening track that sets the vivid scene that Anyma and Tale Of Us are known for. Anyma will continue to tour extensively this year with a residency at Ibiza’s famed super-club Hï, with countless global appearances this summer such as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and many more.

“Fuego” kicks it off as the A1 with its up tempo base and FM sounds . “Tell Me” as the A2 strips it back into a rolling drum track. “Tizer” settles it back into a percussive, syncopated clappy groove with a prominent vocal stab. The arpeggiated warm back drop of “Speeding” closes out the EP in style.

Jamie Jones launches his new subsidiary label of Hot Creations, HOTTRAX with a three track EP of upfront dance floor business. The label will be dedicated to a more underground dance floor orientated aesthetic, only for the headstrong!

This three track features phenomenal 'Changes'. Jamie has championed it all summer and as soon as you hear it you'll realize why. It's a heady hypnotic brew of oscillator-funk and ghetto-groove, arpeggiating synths bubble hypnotically under the rising ebb and flow of the melody as infectious groove drives you on.. the truth is we are all going through changes!

On the flip and Jamie jacks the groove on the 'Road To The Studio'. Incessant chanting and looped vocals are cleverly layered upon each other creating a impending sense of explosive anticipation as the rhythm effortlessly builds to maximum effect. Finally, the irresistibly charming 'No Rush' plays upon retro garage feel while the minor keys serve to create a sense eeriness on the floor. A great closure to a superb three track EP, and what a way to kick off the new label in style. Watch out for HOTTRAX releases in 2013.
