Monocode - Attestupan (SCTRL004) [Jah-Tek Premiere]

@darkai and @dubfreqcob deliver a heavyweight dubstep cut that blends the swung percussion of UK garage with the murky weight of dark dubstep. Skittering 2-step drums ride over a crushing sub, while a legendary vocal sample from MC Neat adds a nostalgic UKG flair. It’s a dark, underground roller that pays homage to garage roots while pushing deep into dubstep territory.

Coming in hot we’ve got another Rewind140 exclusive premiere, this one courtesy of Manchester based producer DES0. We’ll be taking a look at the title track “Speedway” that is forthcoming on DES0’s debut on Jah-Tek entitled “Speedway EP”. The track opens up with a subtle but dark intro, before dropping in some of the heaviest drums I’ve heard this year. Full snares, rolling hi-hats and heavy sub pressure make this one an absolute sound system smasher.
