Southern Boy is an Independent Artist (songwriter, singer, rapper, producer),Label Executive and Business Owner. Born on July, 20, 1978, a native of Bainbridge, GA; Southern Boy began his music journey as a young child playing piano and singing for the local churches within the city. Inspired by his Father, who sings and play the piano, Southern Boy began studying the Business of Music as he became older while serving in the Military (U.S. Navy) from 1996-2004. Southern Boy started an Independent Record Label (KRU Records) in the year of 2000 and continued to put out underground music throughout the years utilizing the internet as a platform to eventually earn royalties for his work. From 2010-2017, Southern Boy restructured his company and launched The New KRU Records and Moneyship Music Group. Southern Boy's music has reached a fan base worldwide and continues to secure a spot in the hearts of those who supports underground music. Southern Boy is actively engaged into Entrepreneurship. In 2019, Southern Boy showed interest in Hip Hop Fashion and launched a shoe line ( L'LUCIANO) and Clothing Line, City Rich, LLC.
