A bubbling tech-progressive house rework comes courtesy of Maarcos, with an infectious riff-based hook. Always at the top of their game, Hot Creations this time call upon Toronto’s Nathan Barato for the next release on the label. The unique and fresh sounding ‘Everytime I See You’ is a real groover with a low slung bassline creating deep swing and flow with the vocals from Room 303 taking it to the next level. Brazilian Volkoder is first to remix, picking up the pace for the dance floor he adds a new killer bassline, stripping down the vocal but holding onto the groove. Last up Drumcode favourite Nicole Moudaber brings her techno touch to the release with her remix making this a wholly satisfying package indeed.

A Toronto favourite, Nathan Barato has been a staple of the city’s underground scene for over 15 years. He began as a young pup, rolling with legends like Peter & Tyrone, playing at clubs such as Industry, Mad Bar and System Soundbar. His talent eventually progressed him into residencies at The Guvernment, Stereo Nightclub, and Footwork, as well as his own night, “Weird Science” at the long-standing and legendary Comfort Zone. His releases can be found on the likes of Rekids, Cajual, Moda Black, Saved Records and his own Roots & Wings.

Producer since the age of 16 years old, Volkoder has produced music for major labels such as Kittball, Material, Snatch! Records, Street King among many others. His music has been championed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss and they are happy to have him onboard the label.

Nigerian-born Lebanese star Nicole Moudaber is a force to be reckoned with who climbed the ranks with the likes of Carl Cox as a mentor. Last year she released her debut album on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode which was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house and deep house lists. Touring all over the world last year she played for the likes of Marco Carola’s Music On and played the final set at Space closing party.

As the first single for the forthcoming debut full-length from BLOND:ISH, ENDLESS GAMES has the tough job of convincing listeners without spoiling the surprise - an effort that sees its pitch-perfect execution in the compelling and slightly mysterious-sounding synth drops, masterfully bolstered by an incentive groove and massive vocals. After a stellar debut performance at this year’s Coachella festival and two years since their chart-climbing ‘Benediction’ release, Hot Natured unleash new material for Emerald City with the anthemic ‘Off World Lover’ remixed by Will Clarke.

‘Off World Lover’ rides the path between discerning house anthem and enduring pop classic beautifully, the subtleties of Ali Love’s vocals masterfully executed amidst Hot Natured’s trademark futuristic analogue sounds. The labour and evolution of the band is evident in its simplicity and matured approach, and the result an instant classic. 

Rising Bristolian producer Will Clarke strips back ‘Off World Lover’ and shapes it for the club circuit through buoyant beats and voluptuous breakdowns, both set for release on Emerald City, the newest label venture from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, on 18th September.

Arguably the biggest dance music act to break out of the underground circuit, with three well-acclaimed singles under their belt, ‘Reverse Skydiving’, ‘Forward Motion’ and ‘Benediction’, Hot Natured are a four-piece consisting of previously established and accomplished music producers Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca Cazal. Since their debut album smashed the charts at the end of 2013 they have taken an eighteen month hiatus from releasing, burying themselves deep in the studio working on their follow up, set for release in 2016. 

The roots of Will Clarke’s sound stem from both his home town of Bristol, and his seasonal home in Ibiza, which have forged a style that fuses the best of Bristol’s bass elements with the upfront house music sensibilities of the white isle. His productions have appeared on labels such as Defected, Dirtybird, Southern Fried and he recently launched his own label, Cut A Rug.

Rob Hes returns to Tronic for a third time with his new EP, Raised By Another.

Bubbling away for over a decade, the Dutchman has developed a tough, distinctive sound, landing releases on Ideal Audio and John Digweed's Bedrock imprint. 'Raised By Another' finds Rob on top form, delivering a slice of driving techno centred around a paranoia-inducing analogue line.

Completed by a further 2 original tracks from Rob, the Raised By Another EP is set to drop August 24th.

Mørbeck makes mighty meaty material. That much is clear, but what's also pretty cool is that he chooses to do it on his own terms. Beyond a loosie here and there, like the M_REC 12" from this year, he opts to release on own-brand labels, Code Is Law included.

The hourlong double EP T.R.I.P.S. is Mørbeck's most comprehensive statement to date – and, for our money, the best yet. "Virgin Suicide" is uncommonly brash, winching its way towards a killer bait 'n switch in the final third, but still retaining enough of the robust techno to mark it as definably his.

Codeislaw008 drops Sept 10th. You'd do wisely to bag on sight.
