A statement to the inexhaustible puissance of Marc Acardipane’s ahead-of-his-time genius, our thirteenth instalment takes us for a one off and wildly enjoyable detour via the classic hardcore scene to reignite the fires lit by two seminal and thoroughly essential bangers from his immaculate back-catalogue, remastered to their full potential. First in line, the originally 1996-released ‘A New Mind (Cold Rush Future Mix)’ proves it’s lost nothing of its implacably pinning, gravity-defying impact. Slowly but surely obliterating all will in you to resist the forthcoming tide in a blaze of whooping 909 punishment and screeching tyres, the second half finishes us off in a euphoric explosion of seesawing bass stabs and poly-octave rollercoasting. A raging anthem of its own recorded in ’92, ’The 2nd Coming’ picks up the flow and amps up the horsepower to weave a frantic ballet of steroid-infused sines, molten circuitry and all-devouring drums. 28 years on and counting, where are the disciples at?

Flip sides and here’s The Hague’s duo Ghost In The Machine taking on Rave Creator’s ‘A New Mind’; steering the original further deep into murky industrial rave waters. Emphasising on elements lifted from the track’s uplifting finale, the Dutchmen’s buildup aims at striking hard and striking sure. A no-frills, rugged-as-it- gets weapon of sorts, the revamp’s all set at plunging the dancefloor into the most dystopian of scenarios. Commissioned to add their big-room-ready spin to Mescalinum United’s time-proof ripper ’The 2nd Coming’, Italian outfit 999999999 (read NineTimesNine) unleash a fierce whirlwind of 303-brined pyrotechnics, fast machine-talk and breakneck old-school dynamics. The result is a brain-melting slice of hardcore techno tailored for extensive jump-around workouts. If some artists have a hard time staying relevant as decades succeed, this is further evidence that Acardipane’s sound retains the untamed, fiery brilliance it had back in the day, when it revealed to a whole generation of young ravers a world they could never have dreamt about.

This one in particular deserved a special, duly outstanding frame to shine, which is why it comes pressed to 180g audiophile quality vinyl, and clad in a pristine, silver metal package to please your eyes and ears in equal measure.

WZX_O -- @jacopo-brancadoro is an Italian DJ & Producer, born and raised in Viterbo, Italy.
He produces Dark and Rave melodies, bringing the best Hardcore and Industrial sonorities into the mix.
He recently focused his production on 90’s Rave, old school and punchy sonorities, delivering huge energy and power to his tracks and mixes.

So far his work had the attention of artists like Amelie Lens, DYEN, Jacidorex, and from platforms as H a r d   V i s i o n & Hate.
WZX_O finds his inspiration in the Gabber style being at the same time influenced by artists as DYEN, Nico Moreno, and [KRTM].


Joele Basili @joele-basili  is a DJ and producer born in the year 2000.
He has always had his passion for music since he was a child, at 14 he entered the world of techno, with his first evening at the elitè revolution, he began producing at the age of sixteen, and began to release from label to label, such as Blaclapse Records, Occult Rythms, Coup, insane industry and many others, up to the great Etruria Beat by Luca Agnelli at the age of 20, with his Hate & Love.
From here he well dened his style and decided to open his own Label,
   "PURPLEART RECORDS".
He releases his first EP, MagicLand 2000 along with two great artists like Falhaber and Rephate, and from here he starts throwing names like,
Angy Kore, Gabriel Padrevita, Axel Picodot, Aneed, WarinD, Wzx_O, Mirko Pallucca, Kozlov and many other artists.
