For REC008, we have the honour of showcasing an exciting artist from Switzerland: Manuel Moreno. Manuel has been active in the scene for many years, with releases on labels such as Ritter Butzke, Amaeo, Hive Audio and Kamai Music. In addition to being an active resident at Hive for over ten years, he is well-known for creating iconic brands such as his event series 'Au Revoir' and co-owning the agency 'Send Return'.

His two-track EP 'Elysian' highlights his diverse range of sounds. The title track impresses with a steady groove, captivating chord stabs, and layered synths that demand attention — the perfect closing track for any set. 'Swedenborg', on the other hand, reveals his darker side. A hypnotic, rumbling foundation is elevated by the magnificent voice of Natasha Waters, resulting in a track that will shake dance floors.

To round out the release, two exciting producers join the Reconsider roster. For the main track, Predex, a promising producer from Istanbul, gives 'Elysian' a melodic yet groovy touch. 'Swedenborg' is reinterpreted by none other than James Harcourt, who transforms it into a dark, tribal dancefloor belter with his signature progressive sound.

Hailing from the South-East of the United Kingdom South Of The Stars have well and truly ignited their status on the global dance scene. An unrivalled passion and dedication have seen the duo become a hotly anticipated Artist within the Trance and Progressive scene.
An instant burst of success has led to a stream of releases and remixes for leading industry labels such as Armada / A State Of Trance, Who’s Afraid Of 138?!, Be Yourself Music / High Contrast, Pure Trance, Nocturnal Knights, Uplift Recordings, Regenerate and Alter Ego.
 
2018 became a breakout year adding their remix exploits to Perry O’Neil’s classic ‘Wave Force’. The resulting remix was snapped up by non-other than Armin Van Buuren gaining instant support at his legendary sets at ASOT900 and Ultra Music Festival Miami in addition to featuring on his ‘A State Of Trance Ibiza 2018’ compilation later that year.
 
The duo continued this by adding remix touches to Envio’s classic ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ also released on Armin Van Buuren’s Who’s Afraid Of 138?! Imprint. This success continued with a debut single release on Armin Van Buuren’s Who’s Afraid Of 138?! Label with ‘Void’ a main room assault also picked up and featured on that years legendary compilation series ‘A State Of Trance Ibiza 2022’ - Mixed by Armin Van Buuren. 

Success continued with their biggest remix to date taking on one of legendary producer and DJ Marcel Woods biggest hits ‘Lemon Tree’ on imperious High Contrast recordings.

2025 contiunes to be a catalyst for success as the Duo return to High Contrast Recordings to release a remix from iconic duo Ernesto Vs Bastian 'Thrill'.  
 
Regular support for their work continues to flood in with plays from Armin Van Buuren, Blasterjaxx, Showtec, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Andrew Rayel, Alexander Popov, SolarStone, RAM, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Sean Tyas, Alex M.OR.P.H and Orjan Nilsen to name a few.
 
With more releases and remix work to come, it appears that there is no limit to how bright their Star can shine.
