Back in the Early 1980's my Dad owned the first video shop in Dumfries called 'Tape Five'. In honour of that I've changed my DJ name (again) and will produce music under the name TapeFive.

Khan Harawira AKA KHAN SHELDON, a young and emerging talent within the Aotearoa (New Zealand) music scene mixes Hip-Hop, R n B, Rock and most recently Dubstep to form his own unique style and sound.
He’s already produced four different mix tapes and has had performances at various venues in both Auckland and the Gold Coast which have met with positive responses. Recently he worked with 3P Media (www.3pmedia.net.nz) to develop a new and improved website at www.khansheldon.com which will allow interaction with fans and a place to keep up to date with what’s happening.
KHAN SHELDON counts his family and friends as mentors saying his grandmother was an amazing song writer. Because she brought them up in a creative environment it has fostered an understanding of what it takes to be innovative and always coming up with original concepts and ideas. He says his music gives him an outlet for all his fears, emotions and aspirations crediting this with keeping him out of trouble when he was younger.
His plans for the future include making a move ‘over the ditch’ to produce music and he hopes to have a number one song in New Zealand and Australia as soon as possible. His aspirations include helping out the future generations and the communities they live in as he says he’s always been one for helping people to live life to their full potential.
