We are thrilled to welcome two artists we have long admired to mobilee, for a very special collaboration - Blaktone & Florian Kruse. Berlin’s Florian Kruse has been in the game a long time, releasing on Anjunadeep, Last Night On Earth, Kompakt and now (how?) for the very first time, mobilee. Similarly, Blaktone too have forged his own path through the melodic landscape, hailing from St. Petersburg, the duo have records on Bedrock and Sincopat amongst others.

Kicking off their meeting of minds, “Supernova” is a strong, deep groover, where solid sounds have their own space to shine and contribute to this fierce creation which features a unique vocal story from Joplyn that rightly so, leads the story of this track.

Next up, “Muscida” is no less powerful, but on a different tip. This time synths tell the winding tale that is sure to move the limbs of any listener.

We are gifted with 3 tracks on this stellar EP, and “The Earth Will Be Okay” closes things off as forcefully, yet subtly as the rest of the EP, which we admire not just for the uniqueness of each track, but the way in which it was built. We’re looking forward to hearing this one on a soundsystem.

Peer Kusiv is back on Einmusika with a new EP. Carotin features an interesting main synth sound with a tricky rhythm and a straight forward bassline. "Catolegio" is progressive and comes with a driving beat next to wide open pads and a dramatic buildup. "Hunting Lights" is more calm and warm with a mesmerizing melody.

The next Diynamic EP is coming from Buenos Aires based producer, DJ and street artist @apste. His 4 track record titled „Universal Language“ picks as its main theme musics ability of being the great connector - permeating cultures, ethnicities and seeming differences and thereby tying all people together.

Expect hot dance floor workouts with 80s and 90s elements and a lo-fi edge to it.

Danish maverick Nandu reppears on TAU after a short absence. Nandu’s remarkable ascension has been swift, yet he’s maintained a high level of quality with all of his releases. Every step of the way he’s ensured that his sonic signature has remained intact and, as a result, his music has been signed to labels like Afterlife, Innervisions and Out Of Options. It’s great to have the talented producer back on TAU and he’s bestowed us with four stirring cuts, each of which demonstrates why he’s become such hot property...

The EP opens with ‘Gone Tomorrow’, an ominous cut with classy drum programming and a grumbling low end. The tension builds as Nandu splices a modulated vocal into the background. As the beats stomp forward, unsettling effects create a spinetingling atmosphere. The main melody is morose, complementing the overall darkness of this deadly track. Across six and a half minutes Nandu manages to create several distinct phases of the same track, skillfully keeping us engaged from start to end.

The title track follows next, with an unusual rhythm and similarly spliced vocals. This time there’s a little more urgency, and the track feels anx- ious. After the first two minutes we get a breakdown which leads into the main body of the track. A mysterious melody tempts us into unknown territory, and the energy increases. Midway through we encounter an extended breakdown, which guides us into the latter part of the track where all of the elements creep back in to create a mesmerising piece of music.

Next is ‘After The Thunder Comes The Sun’, a percussion-heavy roller. Nandu brings together a variety of organic sounding drums, shakers and snares, alongside an Arabian-sounding melody. It’s like the soundtrack to a mystical ride into the moonlit desert. A bright motif is juxtaposed with the sombre mood, offering an optimistic outlook before we head back into the gnarly Middle Eastern atmosphere.

Lastly, ‘Syncopated Teardrops’ closes the EP. Nandu’s penchant for exquisite drum programming is evident here, once again. The bassline bounces alongside a fantastical collection of buoyant pads and synth lines, which form a cacophony of inspiring sounds. As the EP draws to a close Nandu ensures we’re left feeling tingly all over, with a goofy smile on our faces and a feeling that life ain’t so bad after all... Wonderful.

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.

Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to “put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.” Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on ‘House & Pressure’ combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With ‘Crazy Bitch’ it’s a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. ‘Dark Keyless’ is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.

This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. With a wealth of new material still on the way and a hectic touring schedule in place, it’s clear this is only the start for the young artist.

Amine K is a beloved Moroccan producer who has been making enormous waves with his fresh take on below-ground dance music. His sound, equally inspired by his blistering sunrise DJ sessions at Burning Man as well as being locked in during the darkest debauched warehouse parties in Berlin, has been turning dancefloors inside out.  Amine K’s music is full of vibrant energy and creative magic which is fitting for both the sprawling desert landscape and the claustrophobic energy found inside concrete Techno spaces. His newest release, ‘Hyperion’ is easily one of his best, and is a perfect fit for Tiefschwarz’s very own Souvenir imprint. 

The original version of ‘Hyperion’ is a slow and steady grower. It’s a true sonic trip that effortlessly wraps itself around the listener and tightens its grip with each passing minute. Inspired by an iPhone recording of a snake charmer’s flute during an outing in the Medina of Marrakesh, ‘Hyperion’ emulates the snake charmer’s flute into a twisted synth melody. The melody carefully snakes itself around the track with growing tension while incredibly arranged percussion keeps the tune moving with dynamic energy. ‘Hyperion,’ like the Greek God the track is inspired from, is nothing short of powerful and commanding. 

Remixes from Belgian Duo Raw District (Crosstown Rebels, Innervisions, Souvenir) and Berlin’s Mathias Schober (aka Show B of Lossless) provide incredible interpretations of the original take, each with a perspective offering the EP even more diverse power. Raw District’s remix provides an expert level of musical intensity with cleverly placed melodic synth lines guaranteed to put the dancefloor into a captive spell. Mathias Schober takes the tune deep into the rabbit hole with a reduced version designed for the weirdest hours of the after-party. The EP is complete with a ‘Dub Version’ from Mr. Amine himself which simplifies the tune into the most essential groove.

An array of drums and abstract sirens, which Toto Chiavetta arranges into hypnotic soundscapes for dusky rooms, sends you into the dystopian underground world of his latest 4-tracker EP called “Anti-Loudness”.

Opening track “Ocean”, with the warm but chilling voice of Gabro Demais, sets the scene. The force of “Decadi” pushes us right into the night ablaze, while title track “Anti-Loudness” shows us a different facette of Toto Chiavetta’s vision of a dancefloor. Until, as the beat of “Heart Has No Time” goes on, he reveals the final layers of his melancholic tale.

So much more important than any of the parties, the interminable travel, magazine covers or cash, every great DJ should begin first and foremost, with one goal: to be the most avid collector. Honing down the multitude of records is his task, through unearthing and treasuring music, new and old; almost as a traveler navigating his way through the ocean of new sounds. It&apos;s this constant drive for sonic exploration that&apos;s responsible for Souvenir, the Berlin label spearheaded by the brothers Ali and Basti Schwarz, better known to the world simply as Tiefschwarz.

With over five years in existence, the label has steadily amassed an impressive roster of artists, forming a closely-knit family of upcoming producers around them, as well as working alongside some of the leading figures in contemporary electronic music. It’s also been a home for most of Tiefschwarz’s own output with the young label’s very first release being the single ‘Hey’ back in 2006, recorded under the brother’s Ichundu alias. Since then they’ve had a ten-year celebratory ‘Best Of’ compilation, an album ‘Chocolate’ and their ‘In The City’ label sampler. With a whole host of artists having released singles along the way, including names like Riton, Phonique and Ziggy Kinder, the label has now become home to a steady group of talented young producers, Re.You, Sante, Chris Wood &amp; Meat and Ruede Hagelstein. Ruede himself recently released his debut album, ‘Soft Pack’ alongside his band The Noblettes, an electro-indie sound with an ethereal, downbeat version of his dancefloor anthem ‘Emergency’. In order to foster up and coming talent, Souvenir launched a digital-only label called Souvenirplus, and with plenty already on the cards for 2012 (including perhaps a much anticipated, new Tiefschwarz album), this small label proves exactly why Berlin really is the world capital for contemporary electronic music.
