Thanks for uploading this! G2 sounds definitely fuller, deeper and has a better stereo imaging. G1 however has a peculiar raw sound I like a lot. I'll get the G1 but mainly because its price and size compared to G2.

Clockwork Orange style-ish? Great sounding synth, G2 sounds fx'ed ..while G1 is a pure soul (..blaablaa)

This is my 2nd track with the Waldorf - M getting in the ambient territories, after having spent a few days with this astounding wavetable synth!
I used the multitimbral mode with each of the 4 parts playing respectively the Bass, Pads, Carillon and Lead.
The 4 parts were sequenced by the Conductive Labs - NDLR which can sequence 4 tracks (which works out perfectly 😄).
I used the 4 stereo outputs of the M for this one, going through some of the coolest pedals effects I have 🤩

- BASS: Elektron - Analog Heat Mk2 + Strymon - Bigsky
- PADS: Death by Audio - Rooms + The Pill Pedal
- CARILLON: Strymon - Timeline

Under The Mind

Learning to patch FM on this complex machine.  Here we have one carrier oscillator being modulated by another (silent) osc which is in turn modulated by a third (also silent) osc.  All are producing sine waves.  Each osc has a different note sequence, producing an array of different timbres. And then the Gotharman G-Ray filter comes into play.
