Von September 2007 bis Anfang 2010 habe ich sehr viele schöne Stunden im Düsseldorfer Rheingold Club mit Euch verbracht. Heute, am Ostermontag 2014 wurde die Ära Rheingold beendet und der Laden macht Platz für etwas neues. Es wird nie wieder so sein, wie es war. Ich bedanke mich bei allen Leuten, die so oft in diesem Club gefeiert haben und bin sehr stolz, dass ich heute die letzten Platten in diesem ehrwürdigen Club spielen durfte.

For pretty much the whole year I’m either headed towards or away from Burning Man. 

Each year out there there’s this moment in space and time where I feel perfectly balanced between the two. It’s a moment where time stands still, just for a second. 

That moment is when the first ember of the day’s sun peaks over the mountain top to begin its journey once more. 

I try to find a piece of music to express the feeling of stillness and presence I get.  This year the sun was kind enough to arrive 1 hour 28 minutes and 40 seconds into this mix. I was in awe. I’m still in awe.

Some of the magic of the playa for me is where the nature blends with boundless creativity. Where love meets wonder and we get to laugh, dance and play. Add a dash of music for good measure and, for a moment, that magic catches its breath to take it all in, and stands still.

2024 was one of my favorite years ever. Thank you to all you artists and lovers, cooks and cuddlers. To all those who toil for months before and after to make it happen and to anyone who gave anything to another. You’re all amazing. I’m currently headed back towards (or is it away from) that moment once more.

"Playing the Sunday morning closing set at Robot Heart at my first Burning Man was one of the most touching and rewarding moments of my musical adventure so far. I have always made music with the desert in mind, and this felt somehow like coming home, sharing it in the perfect environment. 

The manifestation of an intention - a full circle.

It was well into the night when we commenced our search for the Robot Heart Bus. We say search, as the sand storm started earlier in the night had completely covered the desert, making the visibility extremely limited. Since this was our first Burning Man, we weren't well prepared for the fury that nature would bring - our eyes were filled with sand as the shivers of the cold night rolled through our bones. We drove around aimlessly not always knowing whether we're headed in the right direction. All the directional signs were completely covered in sand and any people around us were just as disoriented by the storm while trying to find their own path. 

After a while we noticed a silhouette resembling a glowing heart. As we started moving towards it, there was no doubt that the Robot Heart Bus was in front of us. There really isn't anything like it, and if you haven't seen it before it's not easy to paint its picture with words. Completely covered in speakers and a large flickering heart at the top, the bus stands in the middle of the desert. It's filled with amazing people, who immediately make you feel as if you've known them for a lifetime. 

There are places on earth that are so rapt with special meaning, that from the moment you experience them... the first minute, this unique, magical atmosphere shakes you to your core and settles comfortably into your soul for eternity. For us, Robot Heart at Burning Man is definitely one of those places.

Sonic Explorer Lemurian traveled through the Amazon to search for Frequencies that can fill gatherings with this magical Medicinal Sacred sound.
After an extensive search in his birth country of Peru, Lemurian found ‘Maestro Sinatsuma’, which means Light Warrior in Shipibo.Sinatsuma allowed Lemurian to record his Sacred Chants while they sat together with the sacrament Ayahuasca deep in the Peruvian jungle.
Lemurian carefully edited each fragment of this Ceremony and added other live sounds from the Amazon to share them in his "Lemurian Healing Sample Package".

These Mixmag Labs tend to reach a wide audience of dance music enthusiasts around the world, so I also made a point to try and showcase a little range of what I'm playing these days.
