Sovryn is the new & improved project of Bristol based, Charles Broom. Formerly known as Barely Royal, Sovryn has been working closely with Korsakov Music to begin his journey into the realms of Drum & Bass and has picked up support from some of the scenes biggest stars in the process, such as Sub Focus, A.M.C and Hybrid Minds. 

Whilst keeping true to the renowned Barely Royal signature style, the Sovryn project is a more refined and clear vision of Charles’ audiological ventures. Melody, energy and atmosphere remain at the forefront, but there is a new added attention to production detail. 

After a decade’s worth of DJing experience, Charles is no stranger to a set of decks. His creative and emphatic 4-deck performances have enabled him to play main support shows for the likes of Chase & Status, Wilkinson & many more.

With an array of exciting releases and shows in the pipeline, the future looks incredibly bright for this promising, young artist.
